Shimano Gen 2 / EP8 - can you sack off the display?

I have a bike which I’m moving to a EP8 from E8000. With the gen 1 system you could use EW-EN100 to link to a Garmin and eschew the display. I can’t find any information as to if this is possible with gen 2 systems?

Levo Gen 4 2026 GEN4 Turbo Levo Workbook

If I recall correctly the hotshoe had a push connector that I had to drop the motor to disconnect from the splitter cable I’m not using either the splitter cable or the hot shoe if they’re of any use to someone

NOT a throttle , but a HOLD button.

Seems like a natural progression to me. I have a disability which means I can’t pedal standing up - I always thought a super walk mode, high torque but not high rpm would be useful for short rocky outcrops to get you over where you might otherwise stall out. This would be a useful derestriction...

Levo Gen 4 Specialized Gen 4 Levo - Official Thread

Hi there Recently my Garmin 1030 has been reporting battery charge percentage in place of rider power. Any clue how I can fix this please?

    Zipp 3Zero Moto Wheels

Hi Rod, great review, thank you. I also plan on building these myself, probably into Hope Pro 5s. I concur with your spoke observations and will likely also go Sapim Race. Which type of nipples have you used? I thought something low profile would be good, rather than the double squares I usually...

Levo Gen 4 2026 Gen 4 S-Works Frame Only Builds

Hi Is anyone here not riding SRAM and have experience of removing the preinstalled AXS hot shoe? Trying to understand if you can remove the AXS cable without dropping the motor? The y-splitter cable that the hot shoe cable terminates (blue arrow drawn on my attached image) at could be removed...

Levo Gen 4 2026 GEN4 Turbo Levo Workbook

Hi everyone I have a few questions some members maybe able to help me with. I have a Gen 4 frame set but wish to run Shimano Di2. So the preinstalled ‘AXS hot shoe’ needs to go. Unfortunately this seems to require a engine drop and rebuild to achieve, unless I’m mistaken. The exploded diagram...

Anyone know this Amflow rider in the chilterns

This is the footpath up from the Dancers End road on the east side of the site. It is the most logical way to approach if coming from Tring. Not helpful in the least. Hope he is ashamed of his actions and offers to dig for his crimes!

E8000 battery problems - help please!

So I have a 2018 BMC Alpenchallenge AMP with Shimano E8000 steps system. I have 3 batteries, one of the smaller BT-E8010 and two BT-E8106. For some reason only one of the BT-E8106 630Wh batteries will fire up the system when installed to the bike. All three have green LEDs when charged and off...

Levo Gen 2 Levo 2019 carbon frame motor install hel

Hi there My 2019 Levo has had a hard life. I’m on motor 3 with a performance bearing upgrade. I’ve had the bike in bits several times and do all my own mechanic work. It’s all fairly straight forward… I’ve recently stripped the paint and refinished it which is a job I don’t wish to repeat! The...

That is helpful thank you - there maybe hope of a discounted replacement then, that would certainly be appreciated

Levo Gen 2 Specialised 4 year warranty on Turbo Levo

I’ve just got the third green LED fault too, and last time I had the TCU replaced a few months ago I had to pay for that as I was told only the motor had the 4 year warranty. Seems a bit tight, but worse was the motor was really draggy at the time and clearly needed new bearings but I was told...
