I'm curious to hear opinions from people who've had the long shock kit long enough for the honeymoon to truly wear off (say, bare minimum six months, preferably a year), especially people who ride advanced bike park trails. I feel like a lot of the reviews might have confirmation bias in the...
FWIW, I've made two attempts to contact lab.bike about shipping to the US, and they haven't replied at all.
Edit: They eventually replied that they're working on a website update that will include international shipping to the US. The goal was to have it ready by the end of January but the...
That's very unfortunate - is that mentioned in the video? I use walk from time to time, and on a 60lb double battery Wild, it absolutely comes in handy. Still, if I have to pick one or the other, personally the ANT+ LEV support is higher priority.
I haven't tried everything by a long shot, but the Levo and Wild are fantastic and pretty safe recommendations.
The DJI motor is interesting, but you're looking at a 1.0 product and I'm skeptical about the frame/suspension. The Forbidden e-Dreadnought should be a beastly combo when it releases...
I need to chime in with my experience as well. I spent two nights struggling with that Hayes rear hose and independently came up with a nearly 100% identical approach. I started with Reverb barbs and spare brake hose, then eventually went to the Park internal routing kit and Buzzy's Slick Honey...
Plenty of dabs, sometimes violently, more than my share of scars from pedal pins, but (knock on wood) never crashed on my eMTBs. I *really* hate crashing, so I ride quite conservatively.
Caliper to axle is a lever, as is tread to axle. The ratio matters. See below:

I don't know how it behaves. Still, I've heard that it's not ideal to endlessly trickle charge once you get to full, and you don't want to charge to full every time if your ride duration doesn't call for it.
Get an outlet timer for your charger and try to set it to get just enough charge for your ride (or to get to a storage charge level around 50-60%) and no more.
R2-Bike has a tempting deal on a Neat frameset if I could find a way to get it in the US without getting tagged with VAT: MONDRAKER Frame 29" Neat Carbon RR SL | Carrera Blue, 7.056,30 €
The issue is they won't ship to the US (most likely manufacturer imposed restrictions), Mondraker refuses to...
Anyone figured out how to see the individual charge levels of the main / extender battery on an SL bike without pulling out the phone and using the old app?
I can't find any display option that does it on the TCU display itself, and I don't think the LEV+ ANT feature transmits that information...
Love my Etrack 23. Carrying a spare range extender is important for big days on the Kenevo SL. I just wish the cargo area was expandable. Space gets tight really fast when you toss in a battery and need to store extra layers for dry changes of clothes and/or changing temperatures.
