I would have preferred the newer battery from the recall and gladly waited and not taken any compensation had we known or been given the option. They should offer a trade in discount.

Please let us know if anything else needs to be changed or is it a straight swap?

I am no expert. Trying to get more clearance to mount a larger diameter shock. Is this feasible to push the shock further from the frame? How would it change ratios, curves, etc. Does anyone even make something like this? Also am not a machinist. Pipe dream?

Anyone tried getting a new 2nd backup battery replacement?

I was thinking of replacing the E7000 on the wife’s Focus. I found a used EP8 RS. I am wondering if I could swap the motors? Or need to replace other parts? Anyone put an RS in anything nonOrbea?

Maybe Canyon was getting refund from Trendpower and passed it on to consumers? Not an expert but speculation on Canyon’s cost? Also are these not very similar to Specialized older Levo batteries by trendpower?

I also own an older Focus with a TecPack. I was thinking I could use it as a replacement. Remove canyon battery and run the Rosenberger up to the TecPack which has the same connection. I would have to figure out a way to mount it or maybe in a frame bag….
