Hi MetroNeck, Valid concerns re water ingress for sure. The issue is with the extension port under the screen is that it only outputs 30W max and this isn't sufficient to run the XSV-PD at 3600 lumens. We're working on adding a Higo connector for our smaller X2e light which will offer 1850...

If you want simplicity, I’d suggest CX Core. It’s our newest self contained light. 1750 lumens - same Gloworm features: interchangeable optics, app compatibility and you can pair both lights to a single Gloworm remote.
