I’ve got the same bike , I changed the seat to a Specialized Sworks , the dropper to one up V3 ,cranks to xx the handle bars to Raceface Arc and stem to industry 9 A35 lastly the pedals to Look Ti clips and the weight came down to 21.6 kg it’s a very different bike now
I own both bikes and the lengths are different the angles are also different again THEY ARE NOT THE SAME like I mentioned in an earlier post they look similar but that’s where the buck stops the rear linkages also complete different The actual length of the top tube is shorter so on and so forth
I rode the flat bar on the Swork R and it didn’t feel to nice for me ,so I put the same bars as my Sworks Levo4 but there’s been mixed feelings on this some like it some change to rise bars
To respond on the lighter part I disagree
The heavier the bike the easier it is to jump
I know it sounds counterintuitive but have you riden the Levo gen4 turbo mode I fly 🤣🤣🤣also the R is a shorter in most areas starting with the the frame
Reach is shorter top tube length is shorter front...
Iv had to change my rims found out the hole count on the Industy nine rear hub , ( I had them from a previous order that I never used) so dropping 400 Gr just on rim change
So battery is a nice to have if it ever emerges
Was at the LBS and picked up the bike to put it into one of thier stands...
Thank you Iva actually got the Chris King 50th anniversary hubset on my Sworks (they gold ) that’s good suggestion for the colour coding , I’ll pop a pick with the blue against the black once they on
I bought the expert In black and I frikken love it I’ve got the Sworks Gen 4 in green and they are both completely different rides , the. Sworks wants to take off when I ride it on a jump line and the R wants to stay on the ground . The R iv got , Put on One up V3 dropper , I stuck look Ti...
Excuse my ignorance but I change all my bikes , bike shop loves me but if I put a 150mm fork on changed the front tube angle to higher (I believe you can) that would be the only change that would affect the geometry
Would it be such a major difference in riding feel , also thinking to out 600...
Already got one , so the longer fork would mess the way the bike handles ? Or rides ? Or both ? Sorry I’m not very technical I just climb on and ride if it’s fun I buy it
Can’t you just buy a 160 or 150 fork and Change the length ? It might add a few grams but buy the 600 watt battery it’s exactly why the reviewer did with the handle bars
I’d change quite a bit but try keep it at 20 kgs front fork maybe the brakes but SRAM breaks are very capable and I’m to...
