Garmin has pulled incident detection from the MTB and eMTB activities.
Be aware if you think you have this protection in place when riding alone.
If this impacts you could I ask that you follow this thread and send an email as per the note on page 1...
Looked at a e specific KMC chain but happy to simply swap standard KMC X10 once per year as more than half the price. Make sense due to the prolonged increase in torques through the drive train
E specific brake pads make sense due to the increase weight but to be honest bike + me is ~110kg...
Morning Rock Guardz do not make a model for an Focus bikes yet. I would imagine they would if there was enough interest. If you are interested could you do me a favour and ping them a message here?
TIA

I’ve was close to taking off my Magic Mary’s last week for this exact reason as was chasing a KoM. Then the snow started coming down again. Get well soon ans thanks for the reality check!
Just swapped out the first set (OEM) that were well past their best. Lasted <500km. Surprised they went so quickly. What sort of wear are people getting out of them? I appreciate that riding styles, body weight, mountains etc. all need to be factored in.
For those interested I swapped for Uber...
Sorel 1964 Canvas with some long johns and marmot trousers. Paired with vault pedals.
Bone dry and very warm. Garmin was showing -4 and then a still breeze.
Worn in deep snow, mud and general heavy weather.
