I think this is a bit unfair. I don't think anyone is really defending the manufacturers, just trying to highlight the circumstances where failure occurs.
It can be comforting to know that some users are having no issues, it should give you hope that it is worth persisting with warranty and that...
Be interested to hear how you get on with the Cycplus, I've been considering one of these. Basic model is heavier than my current pump but the "pro" with the pressure gauge is lighter than my pump and pressure gauge added together.
My worry is that I very very rarely need the pump, I can easily...
Yes, this baffles me.
I would really like to upgrade my gen 1 SL to the new TCU particularly but the part is a stupid price and I don't think they will flash it for me. Motor would be good too.
In theory, these parts (motor, TCU, battery and loom) are about £2k to buy on their own (IF you can...
Thanks for the very helpful answers everyone.
I was contemplating this swap too. I only have a few months left on my 2022 Gen1 Levo SL warranty anyway, but I have no use for the actual 24" bike so would either need to try to sell it with the 1.1 motor battery and TCU, or sell what parts I can...
This all sounds ridiculous, where did you buy the bike? Just because it's ex-demo doesn't make it exempt from the sale of good act if it's from a retailer. I'd be explaining to the original retailer that you've paid a lot of money for something that hasn't worked for the majority of your...
I have had one of these for decades, works great, bought another one about 5 years ago, also good. You can get them on Amazon etc for just over a tenner. Search Mini Grease gun.

They do fall over easily which is annoying but I turned up some bases...
Thanks everyone for the replies.
My worry is that they have been saying they have fixed the issues multiple times over the last couple of years. When I have test ridden one it has seemed nice, quieter and more powerful than my SL though with a slightly less natural power application. I also...
You're at 90% sag?!?!
That's not even close to being workable.
If you buy a new shock before you break this one then you should be able to sell it to recoup a lot of the cost but I don't think any shock is going to get the sag down to 30% kind of territory if you are really at 90 now.
I like to do quite a lot of drops and jumps that tend to bottom out the bike if I don't max out the volume spacers and put the sag down a bit so that's what I do. But I'm not a huge guy so it works for me.
Unfortunately there are very few options for bigger guys and especially bigger guys who...
Considering a Ride 60 equipped bike (latest motor). How is the reliability these days? I know there were a lot of problems in the past but have they improved? Would you buy again?
My current bike is a Levo SL and the motor and electronics have given me some problems but nothing that left me...
Sorry I don't have any useful info to impart but this is a subject I am interested in too but we would be doing the same sort of trip in early or late winter (late Nov or early March) to escape the rain. Any idea when the season is for this place and Ainsa/Fiscal?
