Mine kept falling over too but by sheer coincidence I found a roll of insulation tape with exactly the same inside diameter cardboard roll as the outside diameter as the grease gun, firmly inserted into the insulation tape it now stands up rock steady 👍👍

I use Mobilgrease XHP 222 marine grease, if it keeps out salt water it’ll keep out anything else in my opinion 👍😉

It looks like one of the jockey wheels is slightly thicker so that might be the reason but it’s no thicker than my old Superstar Components jockey wheel so I see no reason to use the supplied screw 😉👍
