Unanswered Can a faulty charger or bike kill a battery?

While the bikes are covered for 4 years, the batteries are only 2 and both batteries are just over 2 years old

Unanswered Can a faulty charger or bike kill a battery?

I borrowed a charger from a buddy who has an extra one to see if either battery would respond differently to a different charger - unfortunately it didn't - I thoroughly cleaned the plug on mine and will probably do it again several times since I'm scared to use my charger - when I get the new...

Unanswered Can a faulty charger or bike kill a battery?

Well after a lot of back and forth and investigation, I have 2 very expensive bricked batteries that have not been used that much and according to Specialized cannot be repaired. I spoke with a nice rep from Spesh who basically said (simple version at least) that it is very likely that somehow...

Unanswered Can a faulty charger or bike kill a battery?

You may have missed this in my lengthy reply above: “Regarding the health of the batteries, I wrote "high 90%" which I realize was confusing - they were not 90% health, but both closer to 98-99% and the reason I did not write the exact amount is that I can't connect to verify the exact % but...

Unanswered Can a faulty charger or bike kill a battery?

Out of curiosity, what exactly does this mean? That Specialized does not like to give outside parties the ability to repair batteries?

Unanswered Can a faulty charger or bike kill a battery?

Thanks for all of the great responses; I am impressed at the knowledge here, but will admit I don't fully understand some of this technical stuff. Regarding the health of the batteries, I wrote "high 90%" which I realize was confusing - they were not 90% health, but both closer to 98-99% and...

Unanswered Can a faulty charger or bike kill a battery?

When I plug either of the batteries in to charge, only the 2nd light blinks, which is the error code for a failure. The bike does not turn on at all so cannot look at app with either battery installed, but it does turn on with a friends battery.

Unanswered Can a faulty charger or bike kill a battery?

I have had 2 700 watt Specialized Levo batteries (I have always had 2 for big rides and trips) fail back to back within 1 week of each other and they were both showing high 90% health have less than 100 cycles each. It just seems like too much of a coincidence and, other than really bad luck...

Levo Gen 2 Head Tube Exit Port (2mm hex bolt)

Hey I managed to strip 1 of those M2 hex bolts holding the port in place - did the M2 x 6mm countersunk hex bolts you ordered work out for you? Do you recall where you got them? Thanks!

Intermittent "Motor Error" on '19 Levo

Here's a strange one - I have 2 batteries and am intermittently getting the error again but only with 1 of the batteries, so it must be the battery right? A-ha not so fast! I also have a Kenevo and this battery which doesn't work in the Levo works perfectly fine in the Kenevo! Any thoughts?

Levo SL Gen 1 How much available dropper post insertion depth medium Levo SL?

I was curious if anybody has measured how much insertion depth there is on a medium Levo SL for a dropper post? Other bike sizes would be helpful for reference as well. I did a search and could not find this measurement; or even just knowing what dropper posts people are able to run may be...

Intermittent "Motor Error" on '19 Levo

The cable goes from sensor and plugs into motor - runs along the chain stay

Intermittent "Motor Error" on '19 Levo

Thanks for the info on the reboot Curious how the magnet becomes misaligned? Seems like with it being embedded w/ the rotor bolts, there is no way it could move?

Intermittent "Motor Error" on '19 Levo

I realized that I never reported back what the solution to my issue was. It turned out the cable that connect the sensor to the motor was faulty - replaced it and have not received the error since

    Answered Shifting issue

Of course 1st make sure you have the shifting adjusted correctly and the hanger or derailleur isn't bent or loose - assuming this is corrct, it could be multiple causes but common ones that come to mind: 1. Make sure B-tension is set correctly so that there is enough clearance 2. Make sure...
