The What Annoyed Me Today Thread - A Place To Rant

Not annoyed, but dismayed by the way that forum has so many clothing threads scattered across various forum sub sections.

Trail building, spare a thought for those that do it.

ebikes are brilliant for searching out and developing new trails. I love nothing more than following tracks left by deer etc, and invariably a new trail can then be quickly developed from these. The best bit about using an ebike, is that it makes no difference if you hit a dead end and have to...

Trail building, spare a thought for those that do it.

Thanks for the kind words, but the trails shown in the YT clips, are constructed by friends, not me. Mine are constructed in the same way as you and your friend. :) Time and energy could never allow me to go much beyond. I have to shoot out now, but will add to this a bit later. :)

Trail building, spare a thought for those that do it.

One of my passions is trail building, and is something that I seem to spend more time doing than I do riding. Having sole access to two separate sites each of 500 acres, I find my self struggling just to maintain a few free and open trail sections, whilst trying to develop other sections as...

    Nearly made it.

Many thanks, so do I. :) It is the first eMTB that I have owned and ridden, that I have not become bored of. There are occasions when I would like the comfort of an FS bike, but those occasions are so rare, that I'm in no hurry to change. I am currently having one slight issue though, and you...

    SRAM EX-1 EMTB Drivetrain, reviews?

The EX1 derailleur and often the hanger, are quite fussy in respect of correct and proper alignment. More so than any other system that I have used, but others might say differently and don't have an issue. This though is one tool that I wouldn't now be without. park tool dag-2.2 derailleur...

    Nearly made it.

I must admit that I'm pretty spoilt for places to ride. From the trails that animals make, the trails that I make myself, open forest riding, to purpose built jump tracks that don't do it for me at all, to the brilliant woodland above. Where possible I try to hide the stand within a photo, but...

    Bosch 2019 motor - Rumours

I currently have a two bikes on demo, a Bosch powered one, and a Shimano powered one. I'm also due in just a few weeks time to take on a totally unrelated bike that I'm not currently allowed to discuss. I did have the good fortune to ride a Brose powered bike for the second time this evening...

    Motor and mud grinding noise

That's brilliant news. :) I have a few 2mm spacers knocking about, and hadn't realised that they were such a problem to get.

    Nearly made it.

Don't know how this clip passed me by. I had a brilliant time this evening playing around in these woods. One place that I never tire of, and made even tougher with the fading light. Very rare for me, I did come close to taking a tumble going down one very steep tree lined sand stone section...

So no evidence based facts then, just opinion.

    Motor and mud grinding noise

I have only used the Bosch original equipment spacers, but they should be something that any dealer that sells Bosch powered bikes should easily be able to obtain. Failing that, perhaps drop a line to Bosch USA. I'm sure that they must be able to help.
