For me the ShockWiz is a great investment.
I bought one and have used it for multiple set ups.
You can try different types of “tunes”, add and remove tokens and dial in after a lap or two.
I only wish I had two.

I think when I started I was t 257 psi and thought I was going to destroy my pump. I think that’s close to the max for the shock too.

That’s a “dynamic” sag number as measured by the ShockWiz. If I measure it static it looks more like 30%.
You are correct, 38% static sag would be awful.
I honestly needed the Wiz for set up. I just wasn’t getting it without and it added confidence in the tune.

Fat biking is very popular in the Rockies. There are groomed trail systems that we share with snowshoers and XC skiers. We can’t run anything less than 3.8” on the groomers though, skinny tires trash the trail.
