Hi my controller connections have a fault, hope you can help.
With the controller loose on the side of the motor I can power up my bike. And tun it off.
But when I fasten the controller back to the side of the motor it won’t turn off or if it times out it wont turn on.
once I remove the screws...
Mine didn’t slip a mates did.
mine got water in and seized up so could not pedal backwards, it turned the moto.
what do you recommend as a lubricant and how much as I cannot find any info on them except remote control cars and they say a little like mobile1 0/30
Its the one way clutch needle roller bearing inside the motor. Have had an issue with mine.
you will need a new part from bafang as no other manufacturer akes one to these dimensions to my knowledge.

Hi what would you suggest to use as lubricant on the clutch bearing ?
As I can’t find any info online by bearing manufacturer on what lubricant should be used.
Any better on/off / pas assist controls anyone can recommend.
my original one is already damaged where it clamps to the bars it’s not even taken an impact, just crap plastic. Apologies if the subject has been covered but can’t find any posts on it.
My mates frame was in that shipment he received it a few days ago and didn’t get any charges.
Frames are sent as samples to get around vat charges but I think boarder force are clamping down on it.
is this on the side of the motor? as I looked inside and mine it was dry and no sign of water ingress.
I think I got water in the mode/power switch or the display.
do you get the ticking noise from your battery ?
