    Pivot Amp’d Avinox

Embarrassed to say I haven't shaken it down yet, I've been waiting for the final parts, like Trickstuff Dirretissima brakes, and Beast bar! Should be an animal though for sure. Never get bored of the Mezzer either. Near as stiff as a 38, infinitely tunable, superb damper, and only 2000g...

I have my Large down to 19.8kg with a still proper build (Mezzer Pro forks, Kryptotal Enduro and DH tyres combo, and Enduro carbon wheels.) Took some £££ to get it there though!

Each to their own. I'd rather optimise handling before looks, and CoG matters a lot to handling. Agree some can look bulbous, but in the case of the Shuttle LT I just got, it's proportionate and pretty low profile, relatively speaking.

Fractionally, but it is also a narrower circumference so it could have been made much shorter. See the length difference between the Spesh 840 and 600....

Pity Bosch don't do this too. Whilst the 600 is much lighter, it's also just as long. It would have been better to keep the same girth, but make it shorter, like Spesh have done with theirs, and then the CoG would be much lower, and unweight the front end nicely.

No worries. The bike has so much adaptability (chainstay length, reach adjustment, high/low, and seat angle), that this tweaking of the shock (and fork settings), and a lighter set of wheels and faster (not lighter, not worth it), it can make two very different riding bikes. It won't ever be as...

    Pivot Amp’d Avinox

I just simply didn't need quite so much travel for much of the riding, so by reducing the travel, and increasing the volume token volume, it makes the rear suspension more poppy and progressive than stock. It makes a difference for sure. Then, for bigger trips, easy to whip the travel reducer...

Pivot Shuttle LT Ride Eagle Feedback

I wouldn't bother losing weight on the fork either, as it's still an e-bike when all said and done. In my experience, the most significant weight savings are found on an e-bike in the cranks, wheels, dropper seat post, saddle and bars. These in particular on many stock bikes have cheaper alloy...

Pivot Shuttle LT Ride Eagle Feedback

I've actually just got my first batch of professionally CNC machined boost->Superboost conversion kits for DT Swiss hubs back, and they fit a treat. No need for a different wheel, and no need for re-dishing (unless anyone's precious about ~3-4 mm of off-centre, but still bags of mud clearance)...

Pivot Shuttle LT Ride Eagle Feedback

I suspect all three bikes will be superb if I'm honest. Anyone who's ridden Pivot knows they don't do anything other than dialled bikes. I say this having owned many, many different brands. I will always come back to Pivot and Ibis, and often Yeti, for quality, even though Pivot persists with...

Pivot Shuttle LT Ride Eagle Feedback

Early days experience on my Shuttle LT. Note also, it's only 21kg with the 600wh battery which I use for most of the riding so far. Definitely a better, more agile feel. I also have time on the current AM, and have an order on the Amp'd, and will ride the three back-to-back for comparison. I...
