Oh duh, you're right of course. Just looked back at mine. Unfortunate, but there should be about that much extra thread for the lockring so you should be fine there too.
Yeah idk really, but honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if the length was conservatively listed. Ofc the bottom latch on a wired dropper can hang below the kink depth so that is probably 15-25mm that is otherwise included in total length
I have the force in size medium and a 180mm one up dropper v3. I was able to fully insert it. I since moved it up a bit, but still.
I can't imagine the bigger sizes would run into issues there.
Is there anyone in the UK that would be interested in trying out a rear fender from http://www.sicomtbproducts.com/ ?
I've been talking to them and they think one of the Specialized Gen 3 or 4 ones might work with the Force. I'm in the US or I would just try it myself.
Meanwhile I've been bitching and moaning to Avinox support day in and day out for 18mo+ to get them to:
A) Actually release the front light in NA
B) Add garmin integration (last conversation said this was in the works)
C) Add Di2 integration just like sram.
The current gen Di2 has some serious...
Increased torque wouldnt help one bit anyways. (Even 85nm is too much)
The 600% though... thats actually a really big deal in terms of day to day liveability. It's still not close to class leading ofc, but max assist % is the thing that people actually feel when they associate a motors strength...
The irony is, you are right, torque is an independent variable to power.
Though even 85nm with proper gearing is utterly overkill, and you could increase power indefinitely and it wouldn't likely require or find use for any more torque than these bikes have.
I mean stop and think about it for...
I'm kinda weirded out by a lot of this tbh. I've never met a single person irl who thought emtbs could be lifetime purchases. Hell, normal mtbs have just (sorta not really) gotten out of the same every year new model new parts space and how would anyone have expected adding a motor to make it...
Honestly, bosch's peak power is fine IMO (even as someone who loves the more from avinox). The biggest issue is they need to pull the bandage from 400% assist and go up to the same 800%.
People can check with torque meeters, but I've literally never seen a full 80 NM being used by my avinox...
I hear you, but the housing is sooooo identical and just by random coincidence Supernova is *also* the very first besides DJI to offer that connector? The beam pattern is even more trivially changed than the connector. Its just different shaped micro-shaped optics infront of the same led array...
Its such a blatant similarity, and supernova is the **only** other company ive seen selling lights with the connector that I'd be pretty confident Supernova actually designed it instead.
