I felt the Domain to be pretty meh as well, really poor at fast repetitive hits and packs up quickly. Found a ZEB 2.1 charger and on Facebook and installed that in the Domain, made the fork way more compliant. The extra 10mm of travel is pretty negligible. Might help with BB height in the...
The 175mm spec'd Toonie dropper on my large A30 has worked well but, I have to run about 30mm shy of max insertion and it's still feeling a bit shorter than I want. I also tend to get bumped by my seat on highly techy downhill stuff. I would rather be buzzing my tire than hitting my seat...
Coming up on some snow in the forecast for us. Still a couple more weeks of good riding weather but it's slowly shifting. Been a great year on this bike.
Hit up another spot out here called Rutabaga Ride. A downhill only bike trail located just outside Morrison, CO and RedRocks. Really awesome trail. Got caught out in the rain on the way up but after the first 2 minuets or so it dries out and the fun doubles and rock drops begin.
Little rowdy run down a local Black Dimond trail out here in Black Hawk, CO. Put an EXT shock on the back and a Charger 2.1 in the Domian. So much nicer in the chunk.
Hey everyone. Just wanted to put this video out on how to change your headset on your Rocky. I know the FSA that was spec'd on mine creaked and even after resetting it, it would still creak. I replaced it with a Chris King InSet headset but you don't need to spend that much for a higher...
It's from a company called Silica. I don't know if I would recommend them. I've had the T25 torque tips snap on both ends, but to their credit, they did send a new one when I emailed them about it. The surface finish was different on the one they sent and it was more like a "seconds"...
Hey guys,
Made a quick video on the install of the 165mm DH151 Atlas Cranks on my 2022 A30. It was pretty straight forward but does require some tooling. The most difficult part in all this was just getting the 30mm lock ring for the sprag clutch. It's really just as straight forward as a...
Gotcha, you did mention something along those lines in the original post. There are just no options for 160mm cranks. Was hoping to find some youth cranks or something. It is nice that you can separate the cranks on the Atlas and Turbine but 165mm still too long for me. Also unfortunate you...
Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB). I edited my post to include that acronym. My bad.
Do you know if there is an ability to buy the axle and crank arms separately? Knowing that the 151mm axle will work is nice but if the axle and be separated from the crank arms then other options present...
Interesting. Why are they showing two difference chainring assemblies in this Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB)? I was also under the impression it was a snap ring and not this threaded lock ring. Thank you for supplying a link to a suitable replacement. The issue here is that those IPB's...
