    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Hi, LC offered new front triangle for discounted 300$USD, which is IMO fair price. Was anybody else able to check if they, by any chance, have the same cracks on their frame?

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

I got the response: I received the frame on 10th of August 2023, so it looks like I am 1 month over warranty. 😔 I am a little angry at myself, because the frame that I received had very poor headset seat. It was oval, and even with proper preload, bearing was still moving and creaking. I...

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Hi all, Not so great news from me. I think I found few small cracks on my frame. I was doing some maintenance of the rear linkage, because during riding, some creaking and squeaking was audible. I found them below the central pivot point, for the rocker arm, on the main triangle, like shown on...

I installed new HMI DP C080.C display and everything works again as it should. Power ON and OFF is normal again without any ERR 36. It really looks like water damaged it... It is a little unfortunate that small amount of water damaged C245(even though it has IP X6 rating). I might try to buy...

    Bafang m820

Hi all, I have a weird issue with my M820 and original bafang 410Wh battery. I have C245 HMI, and when I am holding power button, it does not turn on. Weirdly, I can reliably turn it on, if i disconnect the HMI, push and hold the power button, and than connect it back. It reliably turns back on...

    Bafang m820

I bough second one, from ligthcarbon, while I was ordering some other stuff. Aaaaand cracked it almost immediately. It is shit quality.... I glued it somewhat, and add some additional support around the plastic with cyanoacrylate and baking soda.

I don't think, there will be any higher current firmwares. IMO it was just marketing fluf, now that Bosch is increasing their values with the FW. And if you would ask them, they could just claim "different way of measurement" or some other bullshit. That is just my personal take. 🙂

    Bafang M820 Firmware thread

Yep, I fully agree. Especially considering it is lightweight motor. Imo, this is even more important in the ligth system, that should feel as natural as possible, compared to the "heavy full fat one". I am wishfuly hoping for the updated controller for M820, that could be retrofited to the...

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Hi all, Today, during the ride, I received ERROR 21 and motor refused to work. I checked, and it should be a problem with a speed sensor. It looks like the wires in the cable got damaged. If I wiggle the wire that goes from the chain stay to the frame, it sometimes work a bit, especially if I am...

    Bafang M820 Firmware thread

Hey, I tried this firmware, and before I was on *E102001.3. *E102004.5 feels a bit different. I feel like, it is "less generous". You have to put in more work to get the same amount of output power. It unconsciously pushes you to do more, and as a result, you consume less battery and you are a...

@Dado Can you please share following FW: It looks to be the newest 43V 13A FW available. I just recieved updated firmware from Chili, (attached) but it is 10A. I will try it out, just to see how noticable is 10A vs 13A

It looks like bafang has new 36V 417Wh battery, in the same(similar?) form factor, that was previous 360Wh. old: https://bafang-e.com/en/oem-area/components/component/battery/bt-f100b360c new: https://bafang-e.com/en/oem-area/components/component/battery/bt-f100b417c According to the...
