New Vado SL has been just announced. It uses SL 1.2 motor which we know from LSL2 and KSL2 but a new battery - 520wh. It would be interesting to see a new KSL with such a battery and slightly upgraded motor. I would be 100% in.

When I was testing, during long climbs on turbo the motor was cutting off gradually the power. Probably due to overheating

got my main battery and the extender analyzed. They said it had to be lower than 75% before 300 cycles. So hugely dissapointed. They proposed however 50% discount on a new battery. Below the analysis. MAIN BATTERY EXTENDER

Hi, is it normal to have 90% of battery capacity after 80 charging cycles? Quite disappointed with that. Did any of you request a warranty claim?

I am planning to rent again Slash+ and put my wheelset so I can use the tires and pressure I like without risking breaking the rims. Then I will be able to comment a bit better. I would say both bikes are extremely good at decents in rough terrain whereas KSL is more planted and Slash+ more...

just checked on the power calculator. You need ca. 15W to compensate additional 5kg of weight plus say 5w for less efficient drivetrain = 20w needs to be compensated to go at the same speed as on an analogue bike. Eco mode would give easily 50-100w which is a massive support :)

yes you do feel it. You can tune it in the app how strong is the assistance.

That's THE question. I have been wondering if I should go for KSL2 from KSL1. I think they will introduce the revision in 2026 since the current package is still a killer.

I don't need anything more powerful than Spec 1.1SL motor since it delivers ~290W or 1.2SL ~320W of continous power. What would nice is 400Wh battery (same size, weight due to better cells 18500 vs 21700) + removable battery for bikeparks + maybe a bit faster charging. Other than that KSL is...

I assume the weight is pretty much the same since Trek was on stock spec but Spec was on DH tires, tire insert + extender. I would assume Trek would do 200-300m climbs more. In terms of decents, Trek is more poppy and very easy to jump. Maybe it is a characteristic of Float X shock vs .X2 which...

FYI my comparison between Kenevo SL1 and Slash+. Still cannot believe it: Yesterday I rode Slash+ 9.7. Amazing bike on decents, and would be even better with top-tier front fork and enduro/DH tires. The biggest/only disapointment comes from the motor: - 450m of climbs in turbo mode - flawless...
