When looking at a mates e160 700 I noticed his doesn't have this spacer between the fork and frame. His is the same model as mine but slightly newer. Oh and his is medium whereas mine is small.
Perhaps it's there to adjust the geometry for the small frame?
any ideas?
This is a common issue. The bolt needs to be turned clockwise to release the battery. Your initial thought is to unscrew aka anti clockwise. Such a bad design and it's weak as.
Also being upside down, means it's the opposite direction if you are releasing it while standing over the bike... i...
What model charger do you have? It looks like it has a standard figure 8 input cable? Mine is hardwired so can't be extended which is a pain as the power socket is just a little bit far from my bike rack, so the charger hangs in the air..
Has anyone tried the leatt 4.0 Enduro? Removable chin bar, but also DH certified. Supposedly neck brace compatible, however to what extent this is, I'm unsure.
My boy has the 3.0 which has been a great helmet, super light and breathable, however not DH rated. Will probably upgrade him and...
Sounds like it could be the fork? Or axle/wheel bearings even
Although I know my headset creaks. I can clean it all, and I get a few kms of quiet before it creaks again. I feel the replacement bearings may have failed already.
You'll go faster, however the speedo will be incorrect (shimano has a correction factor you can apply to the display to adjust this however)
I suspect that mine is calibrated for 29 but I only have a 27. 5 so my max assistance true GPS speed is just over 28km/hr.
The switch has a built in battery that will be flat. Start the bike by removing the rubber bung beneath the bottle cage bolts, insert Allen key or similar to turn on the main battery. After a long ride the switch should be charged.
Such a load of BS! The block is the number one cause of damage to the cables. It creates a pinch point within the headtube that is just asking for a cable to get cut. Removing it only helps prevent the inevitable damage. There is nothing about the block that helps manage the cables.
Get it...
