That's if it's "transmission". Older AXS spec will be compatible. Although i have strong concerns about wear/durability of the cassette with the ultra.

$1000usd sounds to high. I got mine painted here in Australia, in a toyota/subaru white pearl color for $350aud which was approx $250usd.

I think any crank that is designated for ebike ISIS standards should work.

I have e13 160mm ebike cranks. Although it's actually my second set, as I bent one and tore out the threads aswell.

    Threads stripped in cranks…

From what i understand. Unior kit isn't actually a coil type insert. It's a solid insert. Coil inserts (eg helicoil, recoil and many others) are coils like springs, not a solid insert with a larger outer thread. Coil inserts are superior for thread repair, and even superior to just threaded...

Wow. A noise like the one in the second test in your video is horrendous. I would think for it to sound like that, you would be able to see physical witness marks where something is rubbing wrong.

I'd ditch the 27plus tyres, and fit a regular 29/2.4 or so. Those 27plus tyres might be getting up around the same diameter as a 29. But they will squish in a heap more unless you run ridiculous pressures or baby it around the trails. And that may reduce your ride height at crucial times...

    Threads stripped in cranks…

Recoil is an Australian brand. 34096-20 is the part number for the left and right kit. But you can also buy just the left or right individually aswell. The pedal threads are UNEF 9/16 - 20. Left and right hand threads for left and right pedals. Which is a very unusual size, except on...

    Threads stripped in cranks…

Put a Re-coil in. These are helicoil style inserts and are typically stronger than the base threads when installed correctly. Don't use a solid style insert. Use a coil style insert. I just did a e13 crank after the threads failed, and have a Sram crank that has been repaired with a coil...

Reliable Drivetrain For Bafang Ultra powered MTBs

I now use a kindernay vii. Which has outlasted the 2 different cassette systems ive used. But it has been an absolute nightmare aswell in its own regard. The kindernay shift hydraulics are just pure shit in every regard. Trying to keep them bled up properly is like trying to keep water in a...

What length fork do you have? A longer fork might help get the BB higher. And how is the suspension set up, perhaps play with sag etc. Pedal strikes are an occasional annoyance for me, but I wouldnt really consider them common.

Technically. The e22 can be over stroked. You just have to add the additional shock stroke to the start of the travel, not the end of travel.

E22 lyfe. I thought I was finally rid of all my drivetrain problems, but my last 2 rides, I broke 2 chain master links. I'm still using the Box Prime chain, with the kindernay VII. Up until now I had not really had chain trouble. The box prime chain has held up to the abuse for quite a...

Can you build your own battery for the E10 ?

They go to the battery management system (BMS). There should be some terminals on the BMS labelled as "SW" which is abreviated for switch.

My experience with derailer systems is generally the cheaper ones can sometimes be impossible to correctly index. EG, Sram NX/SX on my old trek was impossible to get every gear perfect. You would adjust it so it was happy at one end of the cassette. Then the other would be unhappy. So you...
