Can you do that? Not sure if it will route cleanly to the motor given how it has to be plugged in. Just hope I didn’t damage it too much trying to pull it through

Think I’m gonna throw in the towel and give up on auto shift, going to give it one last attempt and then I’m done. Even with electrical tape and heat shrink tubing, I have to pull on it so hard that it just breaks away before pulling through. Even my LBS mechanic is at a loss for words at how...

May have to try using some sort of lubricant to help it move along, we tried using shipping and electrical tape but would keep pulling apart when trying to pull it through, so maybe not enough tape. Going to try using some twine tomorrow and tying a knot on the power cable so I can pull on it...

I got the cable routing kit out but still at a total loss as to how to route the power cable through. May try to use heat shrink with some weed trimmer wire and pull it through. In a bit of bind here… tried routing the axs power cable with a park tool routing kit and the end came loose and now I cant pull the routing kit out or push it back through to the end of the chainstay. Been struggling with this for a couple hours and really not sure where to go from here.

Forged #8 reporting for duty. Build not 100% finished yet. Red mavens are temporary as I planned on using Hope brakes but my rear hose is too short and waiting for my XX derailleur, X0 Chain as well as the AXS power cable to come in from Troydon since it didn't ship with the bike.

Gotcha, I figured it was structural for the chain guide mounting, that makes sense!

Does anyone elses forged frame have a patch of non forged carbon finish near the chain guide? Assuming it's a structural thing but just wanted to make sure before I reach out to T
