From my experience no. Rob had 46 cassette and it was already a bit short, I tried on 50 and id did not fit.

I make now short rides every day and I can also say that assist level 1 is strong. It does not help to switch to 0-9 since 1 is always the same 250 to 300W. If someone finds a solution to make it less powerful (for long rides or if you riding with a pall that has 250W motor) please share this...

No - I don't think that I need it. I tried it yesterday and it works - but no need for it.

I did not try but perhaps if you change to 9 level instead of 5 the first are less powerful. Has anyone some experience if this could help?
