Beware of cacti. Falling into them is to be avoided. I had one snag my glove a few years ago and was in pain for weeks on end and could not remove the tiny thorns. Even had a Dr look at it and told me you just have to wait it out. Thanks Doc.

I updated my originally 27.5 bike to a mullet and like it. Seemed a bit different at first with the 29 wheel up front but got used to it very quickly. I ran 2.8 on the rear and just bumped it up to a 3.0 with a 40mm rim. Helps with pedal strikes and rim protection IMO. Original motor still runs...
