A stronger Bosch SX and improvements for the CX coming on July 14th

Howdy from Ory gun! Android user here. Did all the things yesterday. Like many I could get 750wh but no torque update. Today still nothing. Unpaired Rail 9.8 GX from Flow app, then uninstalled/reinstalled Flow app and the 2nd update appeared in a blue message box at the bottom of the update...

Fuel EXe Tires hard to mount to Bontrager wheels

Had the same issues as you DB and once I removed the liner and used rim tape, problem solved. Holds air just fine.

Introducing the Pivot Shuttle SL AM, powered by Bosch

Dax, I owned one for a short while. Like you, loved the way it rode. Unfortunately, the motor and electronics only worked about 30% of the time. My stellar bike shop ended up buying it back and working with Pivot. The new Bosch SX should eliminate that problem.

    Other 2025 Rail Gen5 bikes

I've had more Rails over the years than I can count, and not ONE battery issue. My Gen 5 seems fine as well, after 1 ride ;)

    Other 2025 Rail Gen5 bikes

I've done business with a local bike shop for 40 years and I'm lucky to get a sizable discount when I buy bikes ;)

    Other 2025 Rail Gen5 bikes

First ride today on the Rail + 9.8 GX AXS. Have ridden many older generation Rails and this Bosch Gen 5 motor is the real deal! Smoother power transition and little to no noise. Bike handles exceptionally well even in the Pacific Northwest's winter slop. Was pleasantly surprised by the Bontrager...

    Other 2025 Rail Gen5 bikes

Got a new Rail + 9.8 AXS Gen 5 being built in the shop now. I may have missed it in the forums but is Trek planning on coming out with a new top tube mounted display to replace the current Bosch one? Blanking plate cutout below the controller would certainly suggest that.

    Devinci Troy e-lite

First shakedown ride for the E Troy Lite today. I weigh 165 kitted up. Did 15 miles with 2100 feet of elevation gain. Using mainly tour (changed from tour+) and EMTB, some turbo. Ended up with 30% battery left. Things I like: The handling is superb, especially for a first ride. I did upgrade the...

    Devinci Troy e-lite

Won't have a chance to break her in until this weekend, but stoked to try it out. I've ridden the Levo SL, Fazua Ride 60 and TQ HPR so it will be interesting to see the differences.

    Devinci Troy e-lite

I experienced the reliability issues first hand. Had a Pivot Shuttle SL. The Pivot part was absolutely awesme, the Fazua part not so much. The bike was down with motor and electronics issues for roughly 70% of the time I owned it. Others have had no issues with their systems, which is great...

    Devinci Troy e-lite

Been looking for a while at bikes with the Bosch SX system to compliment my Rail 9.8 XT. Walked into a local bike shop this week and got to talking about the E Troy Lite. He said they're basically sold out but . . . . . he has an NX medium build coming in next week. More talking led to more "...

    Pivot Shuttle LT

It does. Didn't need to make any changes from stock in terms of stem or saddle position.

    Pivot Shuttle LT

Actually, I put it off for awhile and lo and behold Pivot came out with the Shuttle Am! Perfect bike for me in a medium.

Rail (750Wh) Rail with System Controller won’t power on (was very wet)

I had a similar wet ride condition where this happened. Bike would power on but mini remote wouldn't change assist modes and red led was flashing. Thought it might be a replacement of the mini battery but after blowing out the remote with some compressed air the mini started working again. Next...

    2024 Pivot Shuttle AM

That's what has me confused JP-NZ. I had read it replaced EMTB but I have both that and Sport modes but no eco. I know the bike shop can reprogram another mode back in but guess I'll give the current set up a go.
