Had the same issues as you DB and once I removed the liner and used rim tape, problem solved. Holds air just fine.

Dax, I owned one for a short while. Like you, loved the way it rode. Unfortunately, the motor and electronics only worked about 30% of the time. My stellar bike shop ended up buying it back and working with Pivot. The new Bosch SX should eliminate that problem.

I've had more Rails over the years than I can count, and not ONE battery issue. My Gen 5 seems fine as well, after 1 ride ;)

I've done business with a local bike shop for 40 years and I'm lucky to get a sizable discount when I buy bikes ;)

Got a new Rail + 9.8 AXS Gen 5 being built in the shop now. I may have missed it in the forums but is Trek planning on coming out with a new top tube mounted display to replace the current Bosch one? Blanking plate cutout below the controller would certainly suggest that.

Won't have a chance to break her in until this weekend, but stoked to try it out. I've ridden the Levo SL, Fazua Ride 60 and TQ HPR so it will be interesting to see the differences.

I experienced the reliability issues first hand. Had a Pivot Shuttle SL. The Pivot part was absolutely awesme, the Fazua part not so much. The bike was down with motor and electronics issues for roughly 70% of the time I owned it. Others have had no issues with their systems, which is great...

It does. Didn't need to make any changes from stock in terms of stem or saddle position.

Actually, I put it off for awhile and lo and behold Pivot came out with the Shuttle Am! Perfect bike for me in a medium.

I had a similar wet ride condition where this happened. Bike would power on but mini remote wouldn't change assist modes and red led was flashing. Thought it might be a replacement of the mini battery but after blowing out the remote with some compressed air the mini started working again. Next...

That's what has me confused JP-NZ. I had read it replaced EMTB but I have both that and Sport modes but no eco. I know the bike shop can reprogram another mode back in but guess I'll give the current set up a go.
