You should try a KMC chain. The previous KMC e-bike specific chain (11 speed) in combination with a XT cassette and FSA chainring lasted 4300km on my Bulls E-Stream 2017.

A Shimano XT's fine. I rode 4300km with it (KMC e-chain and FSA chainring).

Hello, I noticed the same when testing a rail 7 (small and large). I guess the noice comes from a not 100% fixed battery (I could reproduce the notice by pushing the battery (headset region). There's a fix on YouTube and a pdf for the locking system.

We've two Bulls E-Stream with the DT Swiss H1900, 27.5. They're strong (12500km without an issue) and not expensive, so go for it!
