So glad it's not just me that loves this bike. I got a Fuel+ MX 9.8xt Di2 in November and I freaking love it. For basically all the same reasons you bought yours... Sounds cliche but it really is "The true mountain bikers Ebike". Honestly feels analogue on the Downs, plenty of power on the ups...
I think going the 360wh battery with a 170/160 setup would actually be a great way to go if you didn't need massive range. Pretty much every ride I've done so far would be capable with the 360wh, although not having the range anxiety with the 580wh is a nice feeling.... So the extra capability...
I honestly rekon you would be happy with either. Slash is obviously bit more travel and set up for harder knarlier riding if that's what you're into.
The updated 60nm tq motor which has not only more power but is more efficient, definitely is a selling point for the Fuel+ at present moment...

Not sure if you have been reading the EXE mega thread robrides set up. But someone in there brought to peoples attention that trek have been putting the NON carbon cranks on the XT model here is AUS even though its meant to have the carbon cranks and is specd with carbon cranks and priced...

ive noticed similar with mine. setting the sag has required a lower pressure then before, significantly lower. To the point where ive left the pressure too high to get the sag i was after because it just doesnt seem right that the pressure would be that low. Going to ride it with the sag firmer...
