Other Broken / Snapped shaft coil shock on Kenevo

Since my failure I’ve been using my Push 11-6 coil and it’s been solid. Be careful of the X2 as it fouls on my S5 frame.

Other Broken / Snapped shaft coil shock on Kenevo

I wasn’t really expecting warranty as I am the second owner, however the dealer said to put in a claim any way as you never know. They didn’t provide a reason, or at least the dealer didn’t have one for me. Just said they’ll give you 20% off a new Levo but I have to forfeit my Kenevo. Perhaps...

Other Broken / Snapped shaft coil shock on Kenevo

I could be interested, I assume you’d sell with motor/battery etc? Might not be worth shipping to aus though. Feel free to reach out when the time comes [emoji106] I don’t think the Vivid coil has a steel shaft. The Push that’s in it now (in photos) has a steel shaft, I think I’ll spend some...

Other Broken / Snapped shaft coil shock on Kenevo

So now spesh have denied warranty and also crash replacement, my only option is repair. Btw I am fully aware of the pitfalls of repairing a heat treated alloy frame. But now my question is: I sent my broken shock to sram for repair/assessment and they have been good enough to offer me a new...

Other Broken / Snapped shaft coil shock on Kenevo

Thanks mustclime I have a Push 11-6 that I have put on, it’s in desperate need of a service and I don’t have the perfect spring for my weight.,but I was hoping it would get me out of trouble for a bit… However I have just noticed a crack in the frame so this question may be redundant...

Other Broken / Snapped shaft coil shock on Kenevo

So I went back to coil shock on my 2022 Kenevo recently, and yesterday the shock shaft snapped. Now I do see a lot of info on coils failing and not being approved for the Levo but is the same true for the Kenevo? The suspension design is offset like the Levo so I have always wondered if the...

Am I the only one who can’t get along with coils?

Thanks Paulquattro, perhaps dead was the wrong word to use, the 11-6 felt very supple over the small bumps, also I had a progressive spring in it in the rail, and then chose a push hypercoil (which are linear) when it went into the KSL. The part of the travel i wasn’t happy with was after 60% or...

Am I the only one who can’t get along with coils?

Sorry if this has been covered, but I’ve tried a coil on all 3 of my last bikes, and they just a bit dead to start with and then harsh deeper in the travel. This completely goes against how I understand they work but each time I tried a coil, I went back to air and preferred it. Riding: Bike...

DT Swiss 370 ratchet and driver compatibility

Good to hear. All I want is for it not to fail, I don’t care about POE or the sound or the friction or the colour, I just need it to go when the pedals turn. Thank you.

DT Swiss 370 ratchet and driver compatibility

Thanks guys, I’ll probably end up building a rear wheel for it at some stage, I was just hoping to make it last until I destroy this roval DH rim and then after I destroy the one that came on the front as well[emoji23] I Had a 29” hope pro4/fortus30 wheelset from my previous bike and mulleted...

DT Swiss 370 ratchet and driver compatibility

This would still be considered a low end hub though yeah?

DT Swiss 370 ratchet and driver compatibility

Hi, I have a DT Swiss 370 pawl hub on my 2021 Kenevo which is XD driver (factory hub) I also have access to a slightly newer 370 hub that came with the ratchet. Question: can I raid the ratchet from the newer 370 (came as microspline) and then buy just the HG driver that I want? My plan is to...

Kenevo SL Official 2022 Kenevo SL (KSL) Megathread!

That’s interesting, I have my TCU display both what gear I am in as well as derailleur battery level and didn’t notice any additional battery usage. It lasts marginally less than the dropper battery and this is the same experience as with non e-bikes.
