I personally don't see much downside to going with more travel. I've been doing this for a while now on my analog bike but just run more pressure and have a second lighter wheel set/tires for trail mode. There's just geometry left to consider.
To have the same sag amount as 25% on a 150mm...
My answer was the bullit and overall pretty happy with it. Honestly the biggest upgrade (beyond motor which only wanted so I could do some enduros) is being able to run a longer dropper. Was limited to 150mm on Lenovo so which was rough but beyond that love both bikes.
@RSG Haha I was mid build. Did put some stick on bumpers that will hopefully do the job.
Only one ride so far but can already say the bike rips and I'm stoked on it. Can give some general observations compared to the Kenevo SL I'm coming off of.

Can confirm a one-up 210 can slam on a medium. I am extremely happy with this as a short inseam person who felt compromised with the max 150 I could fit on the Lenovo sl.
Haha it's interesting to hear other people opinions on things. I took off my 38 because to get level of support needed I had to increase pressures to the point that it was too poppy and borderline harsh.
Mezzer gives a lot more support w/ the damper plus has IRT which gives spring a lot of...
Yeah I could have written this word for word!
Got my storia which was a big step in right direction for me off of X2 as far as having more dampening support.
I ended up adding more and more HSC until I was fully closed. I ended up sending shock back in for a stiffer stack and up a spring...
Nice! Have also though about getting it to get a little more space/"drop" to my one up 150mm but am worried about it adding too much stack height as im already slammed.

Update on my Estoria experience, I have been beyond stoked with mine after I went up in spring rate and stiffer compression tune. Feeling noticeably better than storia I have on my geometron. That combined with heavily tuned Mezzer up front + cush...
It is running sooo good! Let me know if you ever need a help with digging, happy to help but honestly haven't before so would need some guidance.
Are you able to explain what you're feeling on the e-storia vs your other ext? Might help SS nail the tune of you can.
For me, I was running LSC...
1) I can't imagine this being an issue, I personally would just go for it.
2) I did have EXT revalve and respring my E-Storia because it was too soft overall. I'm ~160lb rider and they originally sent me 325/350lb spring, had them switch it out for 375lb/400lb spring. Stiffened up Mid-Speed...
The issue is the seatpost insertion depth and the S2 and S3 have the same exact limit so it won't help to go down a size.
I know it's a meme around here but just get a one up and you'll be fine with the S3.
Yes with e-storia. I can confirm that the rebound adjuster can go faster than regular storia so that might be what is being referred to. But I don't work there so not sure what the real truth is to be fair.
Can only speak with my experience with suspension syndicate in the US. You need to put in your specs (bike, rider weight, etc) when ordering so they can pick the right compression/rebound tune. I actually ended up sending mine back to make slight changes to both compression and rebound tune, I...
