Hello, I sold my trek rail 21 end last year with 4k on it in less than 2 years. I got way less than I was expecting because of the unknown motor/ battery issues. My bikes are in great condition and look new but the electric issue is what worries people. I know it would worry me if I bought 2nd hand.

Hello, Yep same as you. The last update crashed the app and took a few weeks to recover. As said above I think they are waiting until flow app updates. Mud and slop here so not too worried.😒

Trp are good I hear. Just got 3 with shimano so sticking. Bike shop said did not drop motor to do brakes and gear cable. Just motor cover and you can get to cables, is a pinch point at bottom tho. I paid as lack the skill😒

Thanks will look into that. I had a rail 7 before. Did 4k miles on that. Crafty handles way better. Better spec as well.

Yes I agree. latest haibike10 has it below shock where water can pool into charge socket. 😒 is bike OK otherwise?

When I rode in wet Wales I covered with electric tape to stop water creeping in.

Mine was a personal same as other bikes reason, also came with organic pads so would mean purchasing 2 pairs at least. May as well buy something you want. And felt had to think to brake with sram which is not right.

Hello newbie here, yes to upgrades on brakes from g2. Went for xt 4 pots. Sram feel weird. Bikeshop fitted as seems hard to get cables thru with non removable battery. Also changed to shimano transmission so needed outer cable changed as narrower internal size. Amazing bike only 150 miles in...
