Reading this post I had to check my Cube and sure enough (thankfully!) I found a white nylon plug.
If the poster's seal has been missing from the word go surely that's covered under warranty?
Spent a few days in Amsterdam and was determined to come back with a bell, cost 7 Euros (made in Holland!) and works really well. Avoids giving folk a heart attack as I go past!
I ordered a camera case from them at Christmas, brilliant, kept me up to date about delivery almost daily, really pleased with the case so have just ordered a Shimano 11 speed shifter, and once again daily updates - looking forward to it's arrival!
No probs, I did think I would have to add some chain but it seems fine, still plenty of spring in the derailleur mech when on the largest gear.
Only had mine 6 months and looking forward to using all the gears!

Last couple of days saw me fitting a 38 tooth to my Cube! Gets close to the frame but clears it ok. Mine is a medium frame with 29 inch wheels so was fitted with a 34 tooth.
Like you it will enable use of the larger gear on the cassette.
Just fitted a 38t to my stereo cube. It has 29 inch wheels and came with a 34t chainring I found I never used the bottom 2/3 gears as I don't do 45 Deg slopes!
Gives a better spread of gear use
