Agree. If I think back, the last few upgrade have cumulatively made a decent difference

Fazua Ride 60. Yay or Nay? Reliability Improved?

Think they are prioritising addressing the reliability problems, but not sure it screams commitment to the system. Can't see many companies wanting to spec Ride 60 on their shiny new models, so not sure what the future for Fazua is looking like? I'm lucky, motor has been great and done...

Haibike LYKE - Show and tell!

Nice. New seat and grips will improve comfort allot. Grippier front tyre will unlock allot of the capability of this great bike.

    Mid power emtb-forever regretted?

All Orange bikes seem to generate marmite opinions, but I've loved all the ones I've ridden. I'm 1,200 miles in and love my Lyke. The relatively low weight makes technical climbing, singletrack and tech descents a joy. Much prefer the handling to a full fat and 90% of what I ride isn't winch...

    Ride 60 Range Extender/Spare battery

    V. Good point. Depends how you ride, weight, terrain etc but on mixed up/down XC type ride I can get those sorts of numbers. Mostly ride in the green, (Haibike Lyke). I think the new slightly bigger but not heavier battery which is apparently on the horizon will be all I will need for the...

Creaking/clicking on cranking reasonably hard. NOT the motor!

Just because there are lots of reports out there about clicking grindy Ride60 motors, I wanted to put some balance out there. Been MTBing for decades and so am pretty tuned into clicks and creaks which are ignorable and those that need attention. There haven't been loads but maybe because...

Orbea Rise or Trek Fuel EXE (i know again!) Buying advice

Don't know where you are in Wales, but if you wanted to try another similar-ish option you can have a wee play on my Haibike Lyke to get an idea / comparison. I'm in Pembrokeshire.

    Oven of the Day

Steady away, scaphoids are tricky to heal because of the blood supply and where they are. Hopefully on the mend now.
