Just got back from a 30 mile ride running the shock at 280psi and this is what the shaft looks like now. I would definitely say that if anyone else sees fluid around the shock then its time to replace the air sleeve seals.
Right well I've done an air sleeve service and it looks like what I was seeing was fox float fluid from the air sleeve which is good. I'll let you all know what happens once I've been on a decent length ride over the weekend.
In my case it's been fine for the first 360 miles and then just started doing it in the last 40 so I think it's time for new seals. If it's still doing it after that I'll send it away to TF tuned to do a full service.
I guess that's the issue with ebikes as we do double the miles so things wear...
Anyone else getting this on their Fox DPX2 shock? Seems to be holding pressure at 280psi but I get the fluid build up around the sag o-ring after each ride. It only seems to have started doing this the last couple of rides however I did need to add pressure to take it from 250 to 280 so wonder...
Had the same issue with mine and had to adjust the mounting mechanism by loosening the allen bolts on the underside of the downtube where the battery cover screws in.
Just had my cube added to my admiral home and contents insurance covering full value of £5300 home and away for and extra £30 a year which I thought was pretty good.
I've been going to swinley weekly for the last 1.5 months since getting the ebike and other than a few "oh is that an ebike" and "That's nice" no one has said a word about it. I also usually see at least 1 other ebike while I'm there but they are still fairly rare to see in the wild so to speak...
So I've just spent the week trying to convert my 2019 Stereo Hybrid 160 Action Team to tubeless and its been an utter nightmare. Now granted this is the first time I've converted a bike to tubeless however there are a number of things I've discovered that should help others if they want to do...
I agree with what most have said on here and can see both sides of the argument. I do find it frustrating when I'm going down hill and round berms that suddenly change to steep uphill and you have no assistance until you scrub a load of speed. I find it really breaks up the flow of the trails...
Actually storing lithium ion batteries in the cold is recommended as is storing them at about 40% charge. Just make sure you warm it back up again before you want to use it otherwise it won't perform very well. Just like most batteries its a chemical reaction so storing them at low temperature...
@ikaramboo I think you could probably ride it today if you keep the bike in the upper half of the gears so the chain has enough tension.
@R120 I bought mine from Leisure lakes and it was delayed during build because the hose fitting for the front disk brake was incorrect and leaking. They had...
