Hello! Wow that sure is some dedication to avoiding the penalty cycle! ?
Others seem to be ok with 1.1.2.0, I've not had a chance to upgrade yet. I wonder if the Nyon2 is the culprit for your errors? Maybe go to 1.1.2.0 and if it happens again go back to the Kiox to see what happens! Keep us...
Phew! :)
1.1.2.0 seems to have been reliable for most. I've not done the upgrade yet so let's see what feedback others can offer who have this firmware installed.
I think this is the first report of someone using 1.2.0.0 firmware. I'd only seen reports from people on 1.1.2.0.
I wonder if your bike shop can roll it back to the earlier firmware that seems to have been stable?
I don't think it's documented to do that but some do as it's what you do on the Speedbox. I've done a mix of power down or pulling off the display while switched on and not had any I'll effect. Doesn't do any harm to switch off once you have locked bike etc to give it a minute or so.
CX2020 on the original firmware...
I tend to stick to 32km/h but did a 50km ride recently with the limit set to 44km/h. Bike performed superbly on the fast runs with no error seen. Though I'm happy around town with the 32-35km/h limit.
1.1.2.0 is very new so I've only seen one post on here from someone using it with the Volspeed. As they mentioned it seems to be an upgrade to support the new Nyon display.
Don't have an answer re USA but I don't think the Volspeed firmware can be upgraded, certainly not by the end user...
What's the benefit of that if they have the workshop mode. Some have said there is far too much hearsay, mostly from people who have no experience with the issues they're preaching about.
?? Just teasing ?
Darren,
Any opinion is useful as there wasn't much info out there when I was looking. Up to you what you read in to it. I'm happy to err on the side of caution just now and run at 19.9mph limit to avoid a 504 error and when I know it runs fine at that speed I'll try upping it for a while.

Will give you most of the feedback we can supply.
Generally it's very positive for the Volspeed with a few folk reporting no issues with the latest firmware...
So what would you bunch pick? I like the sound of dynamic but I'm mostly a road rider so maybe just sticking to a default Sport would work better?
Shame we can't adjust these settings on an app. Come on Bosch, stop locking it down so much and let us play with the parameters!
On my R&M Supercharger2 I have "Sport" but was of the understanding it used Sport parameters, adapting to the pedalling style being used. Increasing or decreasing assistance between Tour and Turbo style?
The facia you remove is cosmetic and not designed to keep out crud. The connectors have rubber grommets on them so the plug/socket should be watertight. I wouldn't worry about it but maybe avoid riding down a shallow river or through a ford. ??
