    Extender battery?

5 cells would be 350wh and 18v that will not even turn on the motor😉 The operating range of 36v battery pack go from 42v fully charge to around 30-32v completely discharged and when at around 33v the motor cannot provide full power anymore. So it is impossible to use the same cells in a 5...

    Extender battery?

Nice finding. Seems wired as compatibility they list M1, M2 and M2s but only Amflow PX and PX PRO that only use M2s. It is impossible to do a 330wh battery with the same cells as the FP700 as they are 10 cells in serial to make 36v. You cannot add or reduce cells and keep it at 36v that is...

    Orbea x Avinox Rumours

Classic US centric view of the world. We don't have the same classification so either all the current EMTB motors are legal or they are all illegal (250w power) We don't have Horses on mountain trails (they physically don't fit), btw I own 3 horses so I know. We have a 25km/h restriction here...

    Orbea x Avinox Rumours

Are you also coming down moderately paced? If it is a safety issue, why would you let a bike with no motor going down at 30-40 mph but not let somebody go up at 10mph? Guess where the real danger is..... If is for damage on the trail, again is the one going up at 10 or the one going down at...

Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

I think you are right is probably a bit the nature of a more controlled traction and privilege more the cadence, but hey I take any day the DJI traction even if is harder to start, as I said I can climb things that was just not possible for me before with my old system. As the Avinox push to...

    Orbea x Avinox Rumours

Pure guess is that it could be just this: Avinox M2S has been officially certified by the UCI and added to its list of approved e-bike motors. The Avinox M2S Race750 variant is designed to comply with UCI regulations by limiting maximum peak power to 750W across all modes, helping ensure fair...

    Authorities are waking up...

Fact check for you: Bosch sustains > 500w for more than 30min so way above the stupid limit 250w.... so either 95% of the motors are illegal then we are basically done as 250w max brings you nowhere or then they are all legal. Bosch wants about 750w but is their agenda not EU agenda. EU already...

    Authorities are waking up...

I also saw the transmission and has zero to do with EMTB and trails.... but this is typical Alex, a fake news click bait attention seeker personality. But the good news about forums that these pseudo salesman/influencers/attention-seekers they are the minority and get exposed very quickly.

Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

Thanks for the tip. I already have set to on after the first ride and also the start assistance to max. Just to be clear is not impossible to start from stand still in very steep terrain, it just requires more effort and more technique than with my old motor. Basically I need to spin it faster...

Electric mini pumps, do you use them?

It is not the way it works. You cannot offer a port and label it 42v that drops to 30-33v when the battery is low. The way they do is to have a DC to DC buck so they could offer 12v (as they do) or for example 24v but not 42v as it will be only at full battery.

Electric mini pumps, do you use them?

Afaik DJI, Bosch, Brose, Shimano, Yamaha are all 36v so not sure where your "most" comes from. Not that I particularly care about a 36/48 whatever voltage pump that needs a cable (what a pain to fold and unfold etc..), exposed port, where these mini and lightweight pumps do the job.

    Bigger battery display

At least on the M2s you can, from the app you add a page and pick the layout that has a small bar at the top and bottom and two bigger rectangles in the middle, I added there battery % and gear and they are quite big.
