Obviously Handling, aesthetics etc are important but if we're talking about EBikes motor reliability, waterproofing and a robust drive train should be high priorities. EBikes can be subjected to serious use in atrocious conditions, probably more so than manual bikes.

My bike failed to unlock a couple of times whilst using the bosch lock, I had to restart my phone and re-pair with the bike to get moving. Also it did not prevent my bike from being stolen. Not impressed and I won't bother with it again if I get another bosch powered bike.

High tensile chains can be cut with bolt croppers in seconds, I have the evidence (and sadly very little else) in my garage.

The smart system Gen4 on my 22 Cannondale rattles (when not pedalling) as if it's full of loose parts, it's also quite noisy when delivering power, sounds like a car with a whining diff. After 3 years with a silent Brose it's really quite annoying, the price to be paid for reliability I suppose.

Took my Levo fork to TF tuned for (long overdue) service, dropped it off at 8.45am collected it at 10.30 am the same day. Very good service and helpful advice. Rode my bike yesterday very pleased.

How do you remove the rock guard from a 2020 Levo battery ? I've taken the "hinge" bolt out but it still refuses to part company with the battery.

My MY20 Levo made a similar noise, not quite as bad as yours though. I took it to my LBS and they replaced the motor, no idea what the actual problem was.

I got Rocket Red from Specialized........it's not even close to the original, in fact more orange than red. Come on Spesh how hard can it be ?
