I agree on many things written here (but not all!).
I commute, climb mountains, do 5+ hours road trips with my roadie friends, ride sunday leisure rides with my wife as well as bike tourism now and then. Full suspension eMTB is remarkably good for all these activities and most comfortable...
Maybe it's an acquired taste, but I actually prefer the relaxed driving characteristics, high seating position and highway stability of my 2015 Vito, compared to std car. I have done several round-trips through Europe with the Vito, transporting two bikes and loads of stuff at the back. It's a...
I agree, weekend road rides are typically long endurance rides, 4 hours and plus. And roadies are not allowed to wear a back-bag filled with batteries, shock horror.
Deviating from the ever-so-beautiful eZesty topic, but... If one lives and rides on flat grounds, those restricted electric road bikes are probably a very frustrating thing.
But then again, If you ride in (mountainous) terrain, where flats are a non-existing geographical exception and you are...
Thanks, but I'm not a mud expert as I don't ride in muddy environment. I can't give any recommendations really. Personally I've got two sets of wheels, one for trails and mountain paths, then another one for commuting and exploring the countryside. 25-32 psi on both sets.
Distance (range) might not be a suitable measure as it heavily depends on everyone's riding terrain and style. It could be easier to compare riding time, i.e. how many hours of riding one gets out of a fully charged battery.
I'm commuting quite a lot with my 827i and getting very consistent...
Cool stuff, good to see local climbs and Lapierre getting some airtime on EMBN. Now I know my next weekend destination.
And Nico even smoked Dan at the start.
Holy smoke, what a story! If I understood correctly, you've got an odd/incorrect rear triangle in your bike and Specialized is not willing to acknowledge their obvious fault. Unbelievable.
Wonder what the future will bring for that company. They seem to be writing a future bestseller, The rise...
I rode my first Overvolt (527i) about 1000 km last March&April. The only time I needed after sales support was the repair estimation for insurance - it was damaged beyond repair (a traffic accident).
Got the money from insurance on September and bought a 827i (Di2). Been able to ride about 2500...
However, I simply bought a second battery for my Shimano motor equipped Overvolt, absolutely without any coding work in the shop. Bike never complained about unknown battery. It just works.
