one chainstay for all sizes is not very progressive.

Generally I agree but I think they have settled on their ideal CS length for L & XL, but due to the motor system they can't go shorter for the smaller sizes.
Generally I think smaller riders would be better served by one of the SL bikes anyways. Something about kg/ watt or the like.

Neue E-Bikes mit DJI Avinox: Wer kommt 2025 mit DJI-Motor?

I don't know if that's real or what.

The only difference that I can pick up on between the RS and the supposed Avinox Wild is just below the crank arm, the Avinox version protrudes a bit more downwards. Also the frame cable port is relocated. As someone else pointed out, it's showing a Bosch speed sensor on the valve stem too. A 36mm fork, in a 170mm (or 180mm travel bike)? Also dual 29er is weird on this class of bike imo. I hope it's true, but I don't see the downtube being that narrow either. Doesn't even look thick enough to house the 700wh battery.

Just seems like a bit of photoshop or the like to me.

Weird take. So anyone under 180cm should only ride an SL? There are plenty of people <180cm but still >90kg for whom an SL bike would next to useless from a range/power perspective.

Edited by me to be less of a jerk.

To have a more bike like experience, I'd think that smaller riders would prefer an SL to better match their body weight & strength to the weight, power and battery capacity of the bike. Clearly that's not always the case.

Full power e-bikes under women is borderline reckless, but at a minimum unneccessary.

Full power e-bikes under women being borderline reckless is a very hot take! What is the basis for this contention? Please elaborate; if only for our entertainment.

Just below the rear shock it looks different too

Because of the Motor?! They had to put it somewhere 😜

The Rallon RS has a way smaller one thats just slightly bigger than the standard bottom bracket. But even there they had to leave out the Gravity Link of the standard Rallon.

Regarding the full 29-inch wheels or the mullet cut:

You'll be able to choose your preference when placing your order, and as far as I know, there's no way to change your mind once you've made your choice, since the linkage is specific to each wheel size (I believe it's the same as on the current 2025 Wild).

Seems like it .... the only way would be purchasing another linkage, but that will be some work to change it.

From my experience with the actual Rallon the Full 29" Setup makes most sense if your always charging hard and searching for maximum speed and stability ... and with this bike hard means on Trails like rough Double Black things.
Otherwise I prefer the Mullet setup for being way more agile and fun.

Even more with the longer Chainstays on the Wild compared to my 442mm on the Rallon.

I like the full 29" set up on my actual Wild MY 2023, would like to have the same set up on the new one...

I'm not 100% sure, but I understand that Orbea won't allow changing the links, as some parameters may be altered (this may have something to do with models with electronic shocks).

I don´ t know for sure but for the Rallon RS it´ s possible, you can order the second link with your bike for 249€. No matter what Shock you choose.

We´ll see when its available ;)

So this bike will just have the usual Avinox 600/800Wh battery, rather than a proprietary version with a 900 Wh capacity or more as previously announced?
Is this information 100% accurate?

Were you given any indication about the overall weight of your build?
My reference point is that the top-of-the-range M-LTD assembly will weigh around 21kg.

There is no official data yet about the weight, just as with geometry, but there are info from reliable sources.

I'm sure it's going to be the best e-bike on the market, without a doubt.

I think it'll weigh closer to 23 kgs when set up properly (38mm fork, dual DH tires).

I also agree with your assessment that it's likely to be the very best e-bike offered.

I've already ordered mine, too, and based on what my lbs say,
I'll have it on June 18th. I managed to snag one of the two Wilds that are arriving early for the presentation. As for weight, I've been told that the Team model with electronic seatpost weighs 20.9 with a 600-watt battery.

That weight tracks with my thinking. The Rallon RS with a 38 came in at 18.1. The weight difference between the TQ system and the Avinox with a 600 wh battery is around 2.9 kg.

Were they able to get you the price yet? Care to share?
Stoked for you. I maybe should have waited for the Avinox version as I knew it was coming. But I thought I would be riding now; didn't know that I was going to blow my knee out on my second ride on my new (Bosch) Wild that only has like 30 miles on it. :(
Was also indicated to me that it would be third or fourth quarter before I could get one and the price would be considerably higher.
I don't really care about the motor, but I do care about that hardwired dropper post and possibly the fancy new shock as well. And I'm sure it'll be more sleek.

Ps. I still have a hard time believing that weight with a proper spec. Maybe that's trail tires, 600 wh battery, no sealant & no pedals in a medium? Basically catalog weight. That said my own Wild in a large with dual coil suspension, dual downhill tires, electronic shifting and electronic 200 mm dropper sits right at 22.2 kgs ready to ride. These bikes are light! And I still can't believe how well that bike handles. I've never felt that in tune with any bike and I've had a whole list of highend bikes.
