Planning to buy my first emtb this year (been riding a santa cruz tallboy 3 a long time now) and have honed in on the Avinox PR Carbon Pro and the Forbidden edruid. Hoping to get some opinions regarding ride and components. I personally don't care about the difference in M2 vs M2S motor, as I don't need the extra power (though increased efficiency would be beneficial if that is the case).
Amflow PR Carbon Pro: $6,800, Removable battery, Fox Float X Performance, Fox 36 Performance, SRAM S1000 eagle transmission, Magura Gustav Pro disk brakes.
Forbidden eDruid Tier 4: $7,800, fixed battery, Rockshox Lyrik, Rockshox Super Deluxe, SRAM Eagle 70, SRAM DB4 brakes
Forbidden edruid Tier 3: $8,900, Rockshox Lyrik Select+, ROckshox Super Deluxe Select+, SRAM Eagle 90, SRAM Maven Breaks
The removeable battery, cost savings and electronic transmission are pushing me towards amflow, but i keep reading that the forbidden rides amazing (I'm a heavier rider). I plan to try to demo the bikes if i can but may only get to do the analog druid.
Let me know what you guys think or whether I should add another bike into consideration (definitely want to stay below 10k and cheaper is better).
