why does the 2026 levo only have a sensor pick-up on the rear wheel? why has the center of gravity of the battery been moved up towards the head tube?
does the levo 2026 have a hold mode for the push assist?
 
Not many hours left until the spec and price will be published and then reviews will come, so then the discussion about which reviewer is best 😂
and which one is the most truthful........Looking forward to the reviews about just how fast this bike is. But failing to mention which power mode its in...
 
This is an incredibly terrible idea. If I were in charge of trails access I would just ban this gen Levo, because it's effectively a class 3. It's like allowing a class 3 if people promise to go slow.

Respectfully, I've never understood the logic of not allowing a class 3 on trails if the only distinction between it an a class 1 is the maximum speed it will go. I completely understand and agree with not allowing motorized bikes with throttles on trails.

Not allowing a class 3 mountain bike on a trail because it is capable of going faster than 20mph is the same logic as not allowing a car to drive on a road that can go faster than the posted speed limit.

If your concern is people promising to go slow and not following rules, highly experienced analog riders often go much faster downhill and any e-bike rider can also go faster than the pedal assist limit when doing downhill. When I'm on paved roads going downhill, my bike often goes into the mid 30s.

I bought a Bulls Iconic specifically because it's a class 3 because the majority of my use is riding locally along the coast from my home. It's at least 1 hour round trip for me to drive to any trails. When I do ride on trails, I never go over 20mph and most of the time, much less than that.

If the concern is a bike that can go faster than the posted limit, I live in California and every time I see a posted speed limit on a trail, it is 15mph, so with this thinking, perhaps class 1 bikes shouldn't be allowed on these same trails either.

Submitted questions to my LBS where I bought my comp carbon this past Nov 1 (owned my rise for just over 5 months) asking about specs so I can decide (am I really just getting more torque & higher wh battery?) Whether to sell my Gen 3 to buy a Gen 4.
Anyone know the expected release price of a comp carbon as well?

Think the issue is more with the larger fat tire ebikes that weigh 75-100 lbs. The extra weight of those will chew up the trails. Trail builders work hard to create these trails, and they take a fair bit of maintenance, too.

Agree (in addition to throttle bikes). If a class 3 ebike has the same tires and weight as class 1, there should be no concern. As mentioned, it the only concern is potential speed, analog bikes can go much faster downhill if a rider chooses to.

I love that this bike now gives me the ability to only own 1 bike that has dual purposes for practical living because well over 50% of my riding is directly out of my garage on paved paths or roads along the coast.

For the money, the Copperhead EVO AM3 might be the best deal out there with a 750wh battery and $3,600 US.
I reached out to Bulls asking about the Vuca emtb (pinion mgu w/ Gates belt drive, available in Europe), and they said it will be available in the USA once they have a support network for it.
 
Specialized has always had crappy colors. My Blue S-Works Gen 3 Levo is just ok, but is basically crap. Who makes the color decisions at Specialized, the Founder? The color looks like the Rose Gold Color Apple used some years ago!

I must say the system is pretty solid, keeps the battery secure in all conditions, the downside is that it adds cca 500g of extra weight(that is where the weight of the new levo comes from). Some Giant users modified theirs with 3D printed parts and saved up to 400g with that.
Well the alloys coming with the 600Wh imo is a marketing strategy, offsetting the heavier alloy bike with a lighter battery pack.

I am interested into the internals of the new Spesh(Brose) motor, as a lot are saying all metal gears and all.
I am following the development of the Brose Drive³ Peak and so far I haven't seen an open motor with the guts on display. I don't doubt that it's all gears inside as Brose says, but I am interested if they use all metal, a mix and if the gears are straight cut or helical or a mix. If someone has pictures or more info please enlighten me.

Have been uber excited , and now the shipment of bike coming to SA. Is only arriving the 15th and bike will be released to me 25th f…. …. Weeks after it’s suppose to have been delivered

Wormed gears have a very low efficiency, not suitable to use them in a ebike motor...
