What did you buy your ebike this week?

How can you tell which is the front of a tree and which is the back. No Googling please .
Hmmm? 🤔
Moss can accumulate on one side of a tree (back maybe?). A tree will have a slight lean towards the sunny side (front?) which usually indicates south(if you’re in the northern hemisphere).

A tree can be felled in three different directions without wedges. If you fall a tree in the direction of the moss (or back?)…you would probably need a wedge to help fall the tree.

My head is starting to hurt …there’s gotta be a simple answer. 😉🤷‍♂️

I should’ve finished Turdology 101 when I was younger but I can’t imagine hanging off of a fishing trawler in the Atlantic Ocean and making a deposit. That’s just dangerous!😉(btw… I ran out of paper products).

The season of Bear scat, on the fire-roads, is upon us. Practicing sudden turns while riding can avoid some nasty, and embarrassing, accidents. 👍🏻

Bunny Hop Bear Poop A Lula! 😂

BTW I learned that for making a deposit you have to go to a bank. But maybe I misunderstood the meaning of „bank“….🤔😉

Did the same, front and rear 2.6 MAxxis Minions, and finally dropped in the Deore XT rear pulleys. HAve a pair of XT rotors coming in tomorrow.. slowly dialing her in :)

Always had good results with these rotors i just wish they would do a 220mm version .

Well, here's an embarrassing confession. My brakes are SRAM. 😐 HAd to cancel the order. I really prefer Shimano brakes. The sram version are really only painted black... which is a rip off if you ask me, yeah it's a little thicker but why paint it black to look like the ICE sHIMANOS?

Don't need paper on a trawler just lean out a bit more and the roll of the boat does the rest.

I was reading of an attempt to landsail across the Patagonian ice cap. Guys with sledges, towed by sails. They were in their tent riding out a storm when the author got a serious urge for a dump. It was a howling gale with ice crystals and everything so he took a shovel and dug a trench at right angles to the wind. He lowered himself in and dropped his trousers. He had just let go when the wind shifted and filled his trousers with freezing slush! :ROFLMAO:

The thought of it fills me with horror, but I can't help laughing out loud every time I think about it. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

To keep the tone low. Best one I remember was one eyed Joe from Fife. On the way out to the rig on the chopper he got up and spoke to the pilot. Then asked the guy in front of him for a read of his Daily Record and proceeded to dump on it on the floor. When I asked him about it he replied in his strong Fife accent , Ya hoor sir I was nearly embarrassed eat ya may but shit ya must.

No more stuffing my bike in the boot. Rocky mounts guide rail bike rack. Loving it! Solid piece of kit no plastic and secureView attachment 137612
That's what I need my rack on van is chest height . Recipe for a sore back 😫 as I'm old now . My problem is I often leave it for hours on end unaattended. So I have to put it in van.

Hope cranks & Maven brakes fitted(y)

test-ridden to bed-in the pads & discs & I can say Sram's claims are possibly correct about the power🧐

shortened the front hose a smidge (was 2m long) but the rear I used it's full length.

bit of 'Spiwrap' to tidy the cables & hoses, also helps minimise chafing...

Rich.

A replacement Fidlock Water bottle cap with cover as fed up of mud and crap getting into my current one

A spare dropper post (KS Rage-i, 150 mm) in case my X-Fusion Manic 170mm needs servicing. Couldn't resist, as the price dropped to € 21,– on fahrrad.de. According to their newsletter they're going to have a new owner next month and currently have some crazy stock clearing going on.

Where did you get this? The cap cover has broke on mine.
ebay, via Lesiure Lakes

Although they can be found on their website directly too

My hardtail doesn't get out the same now an occasional hill trip and it gets left at the bottom. Or when I visit Charles at Balmoral. Someone will get a good one when i give it away , its still got original Campagnolia cantilever brakes on it.

I haven't a clue what they are , space age chainring ? help.

It's called a "Speedi" it's a mechanical de-restricter. Hopefully undetectable by Bosch smart system and easy to remove without trace if needed.

It will only increase assistance up to around 25mph.
It has limitations compared to a chip but I still have a year of warranty on the bike so it's a safer option, fingers crossed.
