That is a ridiculous colour differenceI bought a new top / bottom headset and spacers from Wolftooth since my Chris King Dropset 5 doesn't fit my new frame.
Managed to get a 15% discount code just by asking, so £111 instead of £131... and delivered to the UK from Minnesota in 3 days. Top class...
On another note, their QC is appalling. Their items say on the packet something about you can colour match your headset, spacers, chain ring, seat collar etc... but in realty, they can't even get their own items to match.
One part of my upper headset is navy, and the other is cyan. The 3 different sizes of spacers are all different shades of blue too!
I contacted them, and they said these are all within the tolerance, and that items anodised at different times might have slightly different shades. SLIGHLY?!?!?!?
Whoever put that headset together should be ashamed of themselves!!
My other purchase this week was a set of cyan DMR Deathgrips and the navy collars to go with them... so this might actually work out fine on my bike with the navy / cyan theme!
Unfortunately, I need a 20mm and a 5mm spacer (25mm) which was out of stock, so I now have 2 completely different colours! Will have to see if I can find a 25mm spacer in stock to avoid having 2 shades!!

I watched a video on Industry Nine making spokes / hubs, and how they time the anodisation to the second to ensure colours match. That is a ridiculous colour difference. It's not the end of the world and it's still quality but it's annoying. Hope always match pretty well.

It's a hidden Airtag@Levo comp What's the tape stuff for inside the top of your fork?
Not anymore.It's a hidden Airtag![]()
You know you get notified if an airtag is in close proximity of you? could lead to someone searching your bike for it and looking inside your handle bars. It's a hidden Airtag![]()
You don't get notified at that second. It's between 8 and 24 hours before it notifies. You know you get notified if an airtag is in close proximity of you? could lead to someone searching your bike for it and looking inside your handle bars.
I know but everything helps a little so I also have a Knog scout under the bottlecageYou know you get notified if an airtag is in close proximity of you? could lead to someone searching your bike for it and looking inside your handle bars.
in a tyre is probably harder to find if you really want to use one though.
Fitted mine before taking a photo
I can 100% recommend the Continental Trail King, but make sure that you get the ones with the "Black Chilli Compound". Extra life, extra grip, no extra rolling resistance. Their new range of three tyres one of which is called Kryptotal (can't remember the other two) are also reputed to be good but I haven't tried them yet. The "Black Chilli Compound" may also be a thing with their new tyres...................
after this I'm done with maxxis and witching to Continental... half the price and seems they have 0 stock issues + heard good things about them
Lovely bit of kit, just had a look at them but £170 plus £20 per month subscription is more than I can stomachInstalled Bikefinder GPS GSM and Bluetooth tracker in my handlebar.
Great pedals!Treated myself to some new pedals in the sale.
Had dmr v8 before which I found to be pretty grippy and comfortable but I didn't like how thick they are.
Surprised with the new horizons though, great grip and larger foot print, they feel great and are much thinner, really pleased with them for the money.

SPD pedals and shoes from the '90's...
Having such a small pedal platform was a bit disconcerting at first but I soon got used to it.
