Welcome,
You’ll be fit as a fiddle and feeling 21 again in no time, sadly the ebike can’t help you on the third one 😉

Thanks I know Im spoilt. Because of injury I’m changing from my regular mtb and am trying to decide which e-gravel/hybrid or mtb I want to get
Your riding terrain and type of riding obviously dictates that as you know
What i will say thou is i would rather have a shorter travel FS say 120/140ish bike than a hybrid or gravel bike for the simple reason an assisted bike doesn't beat you up with power loss through suspension compression like an unassisted bike does and if you progress a little more your limited with the other 2 as too how far you can go terrain wise and comfort wise.

Hi

welcome great Part of the world for e bike riding
I’m based in Mold and the choice is massive for riding
from really knarley stuff to tame forest trails all here
like a few have said lots of suspension makes no difference and can pull you out of a bind if you do go proper off road
happy to show you round the Clwydian range once you have decided
cheers

That’s really kind, thanks Stevie. I might take you up on that. I’m going to take out a Specialized Vado and or Tero out for a test at Colwyn Bay tomorrow. The guys at the shop were really helpful when I went in the other day, I’d also looked at an arbea at Llandudno Junct earlier, but on balance I’m more drawn towards the Specialized. I’m really looking getting back out there!

No worries your welcome
I think I would take the Tero if that’s the way you are going
hardtail but it does have front suspension to give you a chance to go off road
I have an orbea wild fs and have never looked back
it’s great for any road sections but awesome off road and comes into its own
again you need to figure out what you are going to ride more of.
cheer Steve

Cheers Stevie, I seriously considered the Tero but it was a bit ££££ for me! I’ve just put a deposit down on a Trek Powerfly 4.
