Hi, any update on the possibility of a tec compatible extender?

Thanks.
Sorry I currently have some projects that need completing. Over winter I’m sure to finalise these options. Please bare with me.

Sorry to sound like a stuck record but is there still no chance of a Focus Shimano extender? ?

We’ll see what 630wh does on the E8000 tomorrow.

Is this to do with the Focus shimano system?
Should get out with the 378wh early next week.
I estimate 18-20 miles in boost depending on temperature, wind and muddy trails ?

This was a boost mode only ride, bike derestricted and 252wh extender.

How did the testing go? ?
I’m working through design and options now.
252wh and 378wh options.
I found having 2 x 252wh was very practical and light enough to swap over while riding?
Now to design module for the EP8?325A58FD-37CB-4860-8361-F5CF42C101F2.jpeg

The smaller one might be perfect, can you send the dimensions please?

How does that work for you? I know the travel path of the shock is fairly vertical, but it does move outwards. That looks awfully close to colliding with the TEC pack on full compression. Have you already moved the TEC mounting rail further up the downtube into the Sam2 position? Have you tried the mounting the shock upside down?

I'm interested because I'm hoping to fit a shock with an external reservoir (when DVO can be arsed to actually make and ship it!)

Hi Steve, it basically doesn't work at all! my frame is a medium and I can't even sit on the bike (80kg) without it touching. if I want to do a bigger day I just swap out the shock back to standard and use the tec pack.

I would rather have shorter rides as the tec pack makes the bike feel horrible anyway so fingers crossed the trail watts system fits and its light at 1.4kg.

This bottle is 20cm tall by 7.5 diameter and clears the shock by an inch. if I can use the same cage then its all good.

How inconvenient! Have you tried moving the TEC pack rail up the downtube into the Sam2 position? It's only a couple of bolts, takes a few mins. That gives enough room on the Sam2 for the coil shock and it will give enough room for me to install my DVO Topaz shock when it arrives. The power cable still fits OK, tighter curve but perfectly OK. Or maybe mount the shock upside down, does that work any better?

As for the TEC pack; yes it's another 2.2kg, but apart from when it comes to lifting the bike over gates and so forth I don't notice the extra weight. I guess if I did wheelies everywhere I would, I'll give you that.

As soon as supplies are secured, I will run 100 units on a pre-order basis with a target date for completion and distribution.
60x 252wh packs and 40x 378wh packs.

Pricing will be completed very soon and pre-order of 50 units will be required before construction begins.
