Trying to decide Trek or Specialized

Hello everyone I am trying to decide between
Specialized Levo
Specialized Kenevo
Trek Powerfly

Or maybe a 2017 used Trek Powerfly at half price?

Any advice would be helpful

Sorry, you have not posted enough info for us to help you. You need to tell us your budget, experience level, what type and style of riding you do, where you are located etc.

Trek vs Specialized... I went to ma Trek store first. Then a general electric bike store with a lot of variety. Rode a Trek then Haibike then Levo and thats all she wrote. I have no regrets, but seeing as I bought the Levo, I might be biased. I also got a discount so that helped a lot.

I’m 6’3, 270 lbs, used to ride A lot an all mountain Santa Cruz Blur LT 140mm travel.
I’m looking for casual riding in Southern California, I need the help on the uphill and do like the idea of being more confident on the downhill with the wide tires and slack head tube angle. No racing just weekend warrior.

Everyone seems to like the Levo more than the Trek Powerplay, but I can get a Trek for half the price... I know the motor will make a little noise and have a little resistance when freewheeling but I don’t feel like it would hamper much...

So just looking for opinions from people that have ridden both and let me know if it’s really that huge of a difference for a casual weekend rider or save some money and just get out there.

I've got a Trek Powerfly LT8 and I love it. I've ridden a Levo and didn't like it, but I think I'm the only person on the planet who doesn't. I do like The Kenevo though, so there's still hope for me...
You should bear in mind that the weight limit for the Trek is 300lbs total weight, that's bike, rider and riding gear.
The Levo depends on which model but it's 300lbs at best;

If the Trek is really half the price, I'd be jumping on it immediately.

I know the [Bosch] motor will make a little noise and have a little resistance when freewheeling but I don’t feel like it would hamper much...

There's no drag when freewheeling, only when pedalling without assistance. At slow speed it's like riding with the brakes on until you're doing 6-7mph then it's not too bad. Over the speed cutoff it's more noticable when in the higher assistance modes as going from 300% assist to none is a bit of a shock (Turbo) but 50% to none is barely noticeable (Eco).

That’s all very good information, thank you. I do like the feel of the Trek and the Levo as well. To me the Bosch felt more powerful with the assist and the EMTB mode is neat. The Levo would be $5600+tax here in CA, and the Trek is a 2017 with only 12 rides on it for $2900, so I’m thinking it would be hard to not take the better deal since being a casual rider I just want the exercise and fun, but I also do like the complete release on the specialized motor and the silent operation... any and all comments opinions appreciated!

If your a casual rider the Trek will do you fine, although i prefer the shimano motor for serious riding, we have a couple of Bosch motored bikes in the family and for just getting on and riding they are hard to beat.

I've only used it the once as I only had it 4 days but I went round my local trail centre route deliberately tried climbing up things that were virtually impossible on my standard trail bike, it flew up, its actualy quite ridiculous how easy it climbs. i absolutely love it, can't recommend it enough
