I hate riding with a backpack. So I made a couple of custom mods. I think it came out pretty nice.

Stock Bottle cage from YT. Had to modify and make some cuts to it to fit everything else under it. Still holds bottle with no issue. Also made a custom strap and mount for a tool under the seat. All of it works well. Went off some big jumps with no issues or rattling.

Pretty clever. What is that plate under the water bottle cage?

Are you running tubless? If so, did you consider a plug tool like a Stans dart tool in lieu of a tube?

Cheers

its a Topeak mount

I run tubes with the Tannus Armour tire insert which I highly recommend. it offers better handling for more ridged side walls and its like a run flat for ur tires.

So I couldn’t find a set of XT’s (FC-M8050) in any sizes available. Everyone was sold out. But I found these 170’s (FC-E8000) brand new for a very low price. Got them, looked at them, and thought about changing it up a bit. Decided to polish them out for the time being until I find some XT’s....

Can you post some detail photos of your rear fender? I'm looking for something and from what I can see from your photo, that looks pretty clean.

Oh, cranks looks good too!

Sorry it took so long, but i'm rarely on this site. I need to get on here more often. Anyways. The rear fender is a front fender I got from Worldwide Cyclery. We don't get too much rain here, but it does it's job protecting the rear pivot points from debris.

did you polish them yourself? if so can you explain how...

I removed the paint with Jasco paint remover. Once all the paint is flacked off, I take a steel bristle brush to it and remove all the paint. Once all the paint is removed, I wet sand with 400 and then 600 for that nice flat finish. I use a buffing wheel on the bench with metal polish. It takes a little time, but you can get aluminum to shine like a mirror with good prep work.
