Good afternoon people, on my bike I had xt brakes front and rear.
I decided to upgrade my front brake with the new xt 4 pot caliper. And leave the 2 pot one on the rear.
It was a expensive upgrade but so worth it on me ebike.
Cube reaction hybrid 500 slt..so much grip on the front now with good stopping power...hears some pics

No problem to use your old lever. All the four pot calipers are compatible and virtually identical functiinally. The main difference is letters and the xtr's are polished and trimmed of excess weight. They all take the same brake pads. Zee calipers are probably the cheapest unless you can get your hands on the new slx or the model below those(if theyve been released to market)

I upgraded from and rear to XT8020 front and rear on my wife Sting 120 - great improvement on the version that came with the bike.
