Warranty on replacement Shimano motor

What warranty should I get on my new replacement shimano motor?

original purchase date warranty or 2 years for the replacement motor?

I think there was a thread on this a while ago, beleive the consenses was that there was a new 2yr warranty.

Would be good for you to report back though (assuming yourd getting it replaced).

Dealer tells me the warranty is from date of purchase of bike, not a new 2 year warranty on the motor.

And yes, I have had it replaced.
