Does anyone know how much will it cost to upgrade the 1.2 motor to the 1.3, don't mind paying for the extra torque.
I live at the foot of Snowden with steep 3000 ft mountains in all directions, would it be worth taking a trip down to Berkshire cycles, I have seen Robs videos and those guys really seem to know their way round the Kenevo.
Thanks Dave.

Definitely an interesting proposition. Looking at the specs they're same dimensions, so I think the most difficult part could be finding the new motor. Demand may be beating supply although of course I have no insight just a guess

An update to the 1.3 Motor is no problem. Some guys in a german forum already did it with their Levo.
If you can read german... here the link
Specialized - Ersatzmotor (1.2) für das Levo/Kenevo bis MJ2018

At this shop you can usually buy a Drive S. Obviously not at stock at moment...
36V 250W Modell Drive S - Pro-Cycling-Golla

After mounting the Drive S a firmwareupdate by a Spesh-Dealer is needed.

Thanks. Do you know if there is much power difference between the 1.2e vs the 1.3?

I have red something about 10% more power and this increase is obviously noticeable on the trails, but i haven't tested it on my own.

By the way... sometimes you can also get a refurbished Drive S in this shop.

Thanks it's my brothers brand new 2019 kenevo comp .

He rode my 2019 levo with the mag 2.1 and was blown away by the power.

So he thought upgrading to the 1.3 which comes standard on the kenevo expert might get him close.

Just don't want to spend $1000+ if there is not a huge difference.

Thanks

An upgrade is not realy worth the money. Maybe he can test a Drive S in a Levo on his own.

I have decided to leave my C161 in my Levo. It does a great, quiet job.
