Charge spoon saddle in brown
Mudhugger front mudguard (trimmed 30mm off it)
Ass savers wide version fitted as rear mudguard

Planning to do the freehub body upgrade and go tubeless. Other than that I’m happy with the bike as is and bloody loving it.

Nah mate, the 9 comes with a trunnion reaktiv shock that uses no mounting pins like the 7. They sent me the pin kit for a Slash which has a different size bottom mount so just waiting on a new Rail kit

Can you let me know what sizes they eventually send? I’m hoping to use the original spacers from my Rail, but it would be nice to know what definitely fits.

If your pins are 1/2" they should fit, my Coil has thin bushings in for 1/2" pins, am assuming the spacer sleeves are slightly offset on your bottom mount, am thinking eyelet widths of shocks are a standard size between brands.
Hopefully hardware arrives today!

There where my bike takes me
Not that much on my Rail 9.8;
SRAM G2 4 piston brakes (replaced 4 piston shimano) because I like the feeling of the SRAM/Magura's more
Maxxis Aggressor and Assegai in 2.5 WT version (replaced Bontrager SE5) a little less rolling resistance and better grip up front imo
HuckNorris front and back
Ergon GA2 fat
Hope doctor bar-end plugs, saves the carbon handlebars

Future upgrades;
Maxxis Aggressor 2.5 WT DoubleDown, a little extra protection for the extra weight of the bike (all ready in the sparesbox)
One-up dropper post (after 3 months the bontrager allready has al lot of play) but maybe get a waranty replacement first :)

I’ve mulleted mine...
Did you use a plus-size tyre to bring the overall diameter close to 29"? or just use standard tyre? I picked up from somewhere the system can tell if you change the wheel size, don't know whether that's actually the case, but makes sense

I used a 2.6 tyre and had the bike shop adjust the wheel size when I had the 85Nm upgrade done.

Rail 9 - large

swapped out the stock tyres fairly quickly - currently on magic Mary front and Eddie current rear, but tempted by an e-wild for the front
One up carbon bars - the stock alloys were overly harsh
Ditched the organic pads in the SLX brakes for metallic - better stopping power
Burgtec grips (personal preference)
Just changed to a shimano XT drive train - far better than the GX eagle that came stock
New rear wheel - stans flow EX3 on hope pro 4’s. The stock wheel rims were so soft I’d destroyed it in a couple of months
Motor software upgrade

next on the list, swap out the SLX brakes for saints - six’s not quite up to the job, 170mm airshaft for the forks and meg neg for the shock to improve mid stoke support

Thank you Philly G, I put 3000 miles on a XL 2019 Powerfly 5 HT and am still getting used to the different geometry and FS.

OneUp carbon handlebar. What a difference as I do not get num hands anymore. The design is a bit oval in the middle and very compliant to vibrations. Best upgrade so far. Also half the weight and the comfort is incredible.
I'm keen on getting a set of one up bars. The ones I've seen advertised are 35mm but the ones on the rail spec says 31.8? Also what rise
did you guys get?

Rail 9.8
Only swapped the rear derailleur. On paper a downgrade to Deore ?, but after breaking 2 GX in a month, I wanted back to Shimano. (Xtr shifter). I got this tip from a good friend that is a bike mechanic.
I would like a new seat as I bent the stock one.
Not to happy with the dropper. Got play and is slow.
The rims seems soft as ice-cream. I've dented all mine, both on the Rail and the Fuel ex
