I am considering similar also, plus the Cube 140 SL and the Scott E-Strike 920

But the hard bit is finding a local store with bikes in Stock. Have seen the Scott, but not my size

Do you feel you have «out biked” your Rail? I’m ripping around on my and I have to say I don’t feel it’s lacking in any way. Not saying other bikes aren’t great, but I think the rail is a blast
(I got the 9.8 though)

Ah. I see. I get good deals on Trek so I just stay with them. Only tried the eOne sixty and Heckler. Think the best ebike is the one you get the best deal on?

Can’t comment on a Trek but this is my second Ebike and it’s awesome.
Power great and an upgrade coming, suspension is excellent for me, sharp handling and comfortable . The 625 battery give you so much more range than my old 500. Haven’t had any issues.

Nice bike!. 140 or 160? I recall the 160 has 27.5 wheels and the 140 has 29 inch wheels?

I wanted a local dealership in case i have warranty issues. I hope not to, but my Kenevo was returned under warranty 11 times and my Levo 4 times, so would prefer something local. Tried a few shops at the weekend. Despite one saying they had 4 160 SL's in stock on their website...they did'nt have any of them built. Obviously i need to try before i buy, even if just for sizing

I’ve got a Rail 7 and I’ve ridden a Cube 160. If you’re into really twisty single track at high speed you might find the Cube is better as I thought it was slightly more agile on the smaller wheels. According to Strava I was actually faster on that trail on my Rail, so seat of the pants feel isn’t always the best indicator.

@MitchF That's where i normally get my bikes from. Great shop and normally i deal with Ant - never managed a discount though, but then i guess i never pushed too hard :(

Looking on the website, looks to have only the 160 SLT in stock and although reduced and very tempting, a bit above my price range

I quite fancied the 140 Action Team although i did find the colour a bit.....loud :)

decisions decisions......
