Trance SX E+0 pro spring length

HI all,

Have just brought a Trance SX E+0 pro and it came with a 500lbs spring on the back, this is to firm so want to change it. But I can seem to find any details online about how long the spring is ? Any one know ? So I can buy one online ?

Hi Lee,
I have the same bike as you and recently replaced the spring with a 600lb fox spring. Dimensions were 4.830 total length, x 1.385 ID x 600 lbs/ inch, 2.350 travel. I weigh 87 kgs and needed way too much preload on the stock 500 lb spring. The 600lb spring works great for me with about one turn of preload, really supple over smaller bumps but with plenty of reserve for the occasional jump or big hit.
Out of curiosity what do you weigh ?
